I wonder who has the most unique words on gaf.
where the fuck is Biggie?
would love to see where El Producto lands on this scale
no shock that Aesop is #1 not even a little
Tupac says hennessy and enemies in quite q vast majority of songsHow did heck did 2pac lose to Nicki?
Sorting by region sort of does that; it ends up exactly as expected with East Coast being on top and South coming in last.Someone should do one that compares there education to these results.
I mean the Insane Clown Posse dropped out of high school in year 9!
I don't see Del.
edit: where the hell is Slug?
I would love to read Moby Dick written by Wu Tang Clan or Ghostface Killah.
I guess it's easier to talk about faygo than illuminatiWhat's shocking to me is that Tupac go beaten by ICP of all things
Because Tupac talked about how he was going to die and Nicki talks about all the ways you can fuck her nasty ass beaverHow did heck did 2pac lose to Nicki?
Does aesop rock count when he mostly spouts random nonsense?
Enjoyable random nonsense, but still.
French rappers blow all of them out of the water.
If DMX got a double score for the word "nigga" or "nigger" he would probably be in another universe on this scale. Also "grrrrrr" or "bark"
With Aesop rock at the top we see an example of why more isn't necessarily better.
Haven't seen it yet, but yeah, I generally think that the whole "street poet" stuff is a bit overstated in regard to 2pac.
Not sure why people even go that way, 2pac was a fucking awesome rapper and he wrote great hip-hop lyrics, but they don't really work as poems, and I don't know, claiming that always struck as somehow suggesting that poetry is somehow a superior art-form.
I personally think such ranking of art forms is silly, but if one must, hip hop has a much much much MUCH higher batting average than poetry.
