Reused assets? No. But those enemies have been on the King's Field: The Ancient Ciy, before. Like the Moonlight Greatsword, FROM has used many enemies multiple times aswell.

Didja know Seath has been a main antagonist in King's Field before, too?

They recycled the general concept, but it's not anywhere close to being a reused asset.

My PS4 is ready, looking forward to this, Demon's Souls was the reason for me buying a PS3, even bought the Game before the Console.

Hopefully Miyazakis twisted Level-Design returns, like Anor Londo or Sen's Fortress.
Dark souls 2 is really missing this kind of stuff imo.

Yep. It was one (still is?) of the most powerful weapons in the games. I wouldn't mind a new King's Field, either.

But not this project. This looks to be (and should rightfully remain) a new Souls entry.

They gimped that thing so bad from what it used to be, kinda a damned shame as it was the top tier blade for the most part before. The peak was Project Phantasma. Shit was so strong almost made things unbalanced lol. Esp being able to throw an energy slice and if you connect with the actual slash itself the same time on target, can 1-2 hit kill things on occasion.

I too like to judge the graphics of a game by looking at extremely compressed images.

He's described as the "White Dragon God" IIRC. He doesn't resemble a traditional dragon, but he's still supposedly one. Actually, similar to how he is in Dark Souls, anyway.

Also, you get the Moonlight Sword from Black Dragon Guyra, who Kalameet heavily resembles.

I think most people in here aren't hyped because of the screens but more because of what the screens represent. A successor to Demon Souls is something evidently a lot of people want and the fact these screens exist and hint at this game being exactly that has led to this crazy hype we're seeing now. Personally I can't wait and I wouldn't even care if it looked like a PS3 game, I just want to play a Miyazaki Demon Souls game

I don't know what others see, but when I saw those pictures I can tell that it would be visually impressive. Not that it may push the most polygons, but that it will look incredibly visually pleasing. It's all about Art Design, and Direction.

Some of the most "technically impressive" titles are the most boring visually to me. Killzone, for example has boring art design, despite always pushing the envelope in the graphics department. So, the Souls games look much better, more appealing to me. Despite being less of a technical spectacle.

I dream of a compilations of episodes 1-4 remakes, done with the same engine than DrS, all the assets/texture redone in HD, and available on PC now that From has realized they have an audience outside Japan on this hardware.
As a bonus it would be a nice hommage to the Ultima Underworld series ;p
