People are ripping on the web hand now? I thought that was really cool, helped amplify the moment into something greater than a typical "web save" that he does throughout the movie.
Foreal, don't hate on the hand-web. Really liked that touch.

It's not nitpicking to not call it a stylistic flourish. Placing an actor or using archived footage out in the open isn't flourish. It was an easy way to show that he was guilty. Not saying that it was bad, but it isn't like it creative or anything. The web hand is a stylistic flourish, but a bad one that was unnecessary. We saw the tension as the web was going down the improbable clock tower and was barely making it to her. It's like that he thought not enough things were happening and added it in to really hammer in the idea that he was reaching out to her in desperation. I know, that part is a nitpick, but it is one of many things that is wrong with the film. For me it was something that interrupted any of the emotional impact of the scene with something that was pretty silly.
guys... guys... calm down... the web hand and the hallucinations were both stupid.
He then infects her with his radioactive spider cum from which she later dies? They should have had a scene where Peter and Gwen are getting all hot and heavy, then Gwen asks Peter if he has a condom and he tells Gwen he doesn't, so she says 'Don't worry about it, we'll be careful.'
*Cue disapproving Captain Stacy vision*
Holy shit. I need a re-imagining of the Gwen Stacy arc where a reckless Peter Parker cums spider-venom into Gwen and turns her into the Green Goblin. He then infects her with his radioactive spider cum from which she later dies?
yes this happened, only with maryjane
Going to see this again tonight, this time in 3D on an "ultra-screen", which seem better than LieMAX but not as good as the real deal.
I'll let you guys know how it is the second time around from someone who was expecting to hate it and ended up enjoying it quite a bit.
.He then infects her with his radioactive spider cum from which she later dies?

Reign and its radioactive cum the memories.
No, it isn't. You may not like it but that doesn't make it something that's wrong with the film.

Imagine The Dark Knight Returns except written for Spider-Man and being really fucking bad. What is this, and what exactly is going on? Is that old man Peter or something?

Just because you don't find it to be something wrong doesn't mean I don't. You are acting like the web hand being good or bad has to be a fact. I think it is something minor that is wrong with the film. It reminds me of Star Wars film edits that adds a whole bunch of unnecessary crap added because George Lucas didn't understand his own movies. But let's pretend that the web hand was just something he added just so it would look cool and had no other meaning. Why do that to this scene? "You know what would look cool in this death scene? If there was a web hand."
"Let's just pretend the web-hand in the movie is stupid, regardless of interpretation or opinion. OK, now that we're on the same page, here's what I propose: isn't the web-hand stupid?"
You do realize that's what you're saying, right?
It's near as bad as Paul Jenkins was and that's saying something.Imagine The Dark Knight Returns except written for Spider-Man and being really fucking bad.
just saw it today
all throughout the movie I was wondering
where was iron man? thor? captain america? superman? jughead? spawn? goku?
New york city was under attack, two planes almost crashed into each other, a lot of people were killed.
where were the avengers, the justice league, the get along gang, or the watchmen?
I know you are clearly joking, but the Amazing Spider-Man Universe takes place hundreds of years before those movies.
So was the only one that caught a black man in a hoodie being mistaken for a threat and forced to defend himself? I wonder did Jamie Foxx do that in purpose.

so it takes place in the same timeframe as star wars, just not in a galaxy far far away?
Trayvon Martin is not the allusion to black identity that you're looking for here. This, however, is.So was the only one that caught a black man in a hoodie being mistaken for a threat and forced to defend himself? I wonder did Jamie Foxx do that in purpose.
That's actually kind of a genius take on it.saw this today, thought it was neat

Not sure if joking..
Am I the only one who liked Dan Dehann as Harry Osbourn more?
Also I feel his actions were because of sickness and the serum. You could see his hesitation in the final scene before he drops Gwen
Am I the only one who want's a Harry Redemption in ASM3?
I felt he and peter didn't have enough screen time either, and after seeing the movie, it seems they cut out the subplot, with Harry telling peter about Oscorp having him under surveillance.
Wonder how big the directors cut will be?
I heard they cut a lot.
Also should the Symbiote suit make it in Sinister Six movie So Peter can overcom all of them.
Granted Venom movie comes out to establish this, or unless the events in Sinister Six leads to Venom movie.
Will CURT Conner return, since he seemed like he was on Peter's side at the end of ASM 1?
He's not even looking for an argument. I get you didn't like the movie, and it does have a lot of issues. But most of these questions are fucking stupid lol.
The hand web came off as cheesy to some, but it was an artistic touch. Questioning how his web could take on that form is far dumber that it being in the film.
He isn't joking.
didn't cha know that disney now owns star wars, and is putting all their films in the same continuity?
The amazing spiderman is in the same timeframe as star wars episode v.
The Lion King takes places during the avengers, kingdom hearts 2 takes place after the avengers and before saving mr banks.
It is not my fault that you cannot read my question properly. I was not questioning how it did that, I don't care how. I was questioning why. Why did the director decide to add in that touch? That is what the whole thing was about. There are a lot of weird/dumb choices made in this movie, that many people have been critical about. This was just something small that I found to be weird. So you just immediately go "fucking stupid lol" because you didn't want to or could not add anything. If you don't feel like discussing what I said about the movie, then maybe you shouldn't be in a discussion topic. Or just ignore it.
But Lion King takes place during Kingdom Hearts 2 too.
Where does Goofy Movie fit in?

alternate timeline, after babes in toyland before the sam raimi spiderman trilogy.
Lol I like how you suddenly speak for everyone here. No where did I say I didn't want to discuss the movie, I'm just letting you know some of what you're saying sounds really dumb to me. There's a difference.
You said yourself that the movie was dumb, so that validates all of the dumb questions. Like, "why didn't Electro instantly kill Spider-Man like he killed that guy?" Or, "why was Gwen there?"
He isn't joking.

Why do you always make these assumptions? I am not speaking for everyone in here. When all you ask is "Why are your questions so stupid?" you come across as extremely rude and you contribute nothing to the discussion.
I never said the movie was dumb, so again you seem to have issue with reading my posts and questions. I said parts of the movie were. If you are tired off all the "dumb questions" then why are you here? This is a discussion thread, what did you think would happen? Everyone would go "man wasn't this the best movie ever?" "Yeah bro, hi fiveskis all around." No, they are going to post their comments, questions, and opinions about the movie.
