Rubbish King
The gift that keeps on giving
Seeing mods in this thread is like when you spot a teacher outside of school without their shirt and tie on.
They are some smart dewds though

Do you think you need to take that approach to every topic? How would you go about arguing your reason as to why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
This almost reads like an AI that has become self aware. You aren't the only one. I get this criticism a lot, and what I can say is that it's a deliberate choice. First, I believe emotion clouds analysis and objectivity; second, I often have controversial opinions or express depressing observations, and as such I deliberately attempt to avoid seeming hostile or angry or lugubrious when I express those opinions and observations.
But you are correct that this approach also seems to have downsides to many people. I can seem aloof and emotionless. This is not because I legitimately lack emotion; it's because I feel emotion has very little place in debate. This is simply an explanation of my tone.
So like
do y'all put being a mod in your resumes.
Dawg when did you PM me? I can't find anything.

But no the answer is that I will still not make out with you.
I only really see your posts in threads where there are serious debates. Are those the only kind you are interested in?You aren't the only one. Mod shopping? Are you saying I can buy my own mod?If you're PMing in about general policy or some kind of issue like that, yes, we will generally discuss it as a group with whoever is present when it's received.
If you're mod shopping for a different response because you didn't like the one you got, we will know as well.
Beyond that, the answer is maybe. >_>
Everyone knows that having a Professor as a mod would help get things done.

He posts regularly in the blackgaf thread, he is just like everyone else, just with the power to strike you down at anytimeThey are generally pretty smart, very down to earth. But I'm really afraid of bishop.
I'm new here, but long time lurker. I wouldn't feel comfortable posting on a thread where bishop is active.
I was a mod for a few years at a different gaming forum and the main reason I retired from the position was the lack of support on infractions and bans (such as another mod reversing an infraction or ban). This happened too often and was very frustrating. It undermined the role that a mod was given and members began to use it for leverage.
