This is awesome! Never played the original versions.
Cyrus clearly was the most psychotic and ambitious of them all. Crazy how they couldn't fit an Arceus plot somewhere.
He's already got a diverse team. I guess he could replace Mightyena with something more threatening.

My ten year old self who didn't understand pixels held that GBA up against a bright light source and got the magnifying glass out when she appeared.
Looking back, that was really creepy.

On the plus side, the region's really cool other than all the surfing, and hopefully Gamefreak gives it some improvements like Kanto got in Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

There needs to be a Drake plot somewhere. And one where Lorelei comes to visit Glacia.
Phoebe can get an expanded role easily since her grandparents live at Mount Pyre.
Drake would probably be interested in that wrecked ship.
Glacia's Pokemon are found in Shoal Cave, so she could visit there.

Besides, we don't even know if ORAS is a full remake yet. Probably best to wait until we know how different the story and progression is, at least.

It expands the seas with torrents, where do you think it gets that rain? Not from the ocean.
Maybe the next handheld will do what the DS did. The OG DS and lite had a GBA slot. Revisions after that dropped it.
For the next handheld, they'll probably have a new cartridge format or something but the first version will also have a DS slot to the side or bottom. Revisions after that will drop the DS compatibility.
Gen 4 remakes ensured.
Is there even a chance that we wouldn't get those two mega evolutions? Its cool for Blaziken to be the only mega from gen 3 starters in a gen 6 game, but kinda unfair for it to happen in a gen 3 game.

I love Pokemon X and Y, but how Nintendo let Game Freak release the game as it was completely alludes me.
I cannot understand, for the life of me, how a flagship 3DS title such as the first 3D Pokemon game, can release without proper 3D support. If games like Kid Icarus Uprising can get by in 3D at a really stable frame rate, then really have no excuse. The overworld's are not that detailed.
The 3D support in battle is abysmal as well, as I'm sure many of you know. The Pokemon models and animations look absolutely fantastic, but at that frame rate it's like watching a slideshow, and completely ruins the experience, in my opinion.
The UI in X and Y is also majorly disappointing. I appreciate that these games are more tailored for kids, but the whole Bubble/Gloss Web 2.0 thing they have going on, with no coherent colour scheme, is a major step back from Black 2/White 2. And that's to say nothing of the fact that they have still not improved on the endless list of items you can rack up. Would it really be so hard to provide some more "sections" to the bag, especially for half the stuff that get's shoved into the general area (Evolution and Battle items would be something to section off).
When Pokemon X and Y were announced, I had really high hopes that Game Freak would make really amazing use of Streetpass. It's an amazing technology, and games like Animal Crossing have shown me that it's a real incentive to carry my 3DS around. Could you imagine what Pokemon could do with Streetpass? Have a single Pokemon slot in your PC for Streetpass trade. Set general conditions for what you're looking for, such as level, gender, type, or keep it random, and then after walking around come home to see what you may have traded with a stranger? Or how about leveraging the battle box? As you pass by people on the street, you exchange battle box data so that you can fight an AI controlled version of their teams when you get home?
But no, you pass people in X and Y, and you get PokeMiles, to spend on items that don't really matter much at all. Complete waste of an opportunity.
