#268 on sale June 5th. It is PlayStation related.

Best issue in a loooong time.

Man, I really should get around to playing Hearthstone. It's sitting on my iPad waiting patiently, but I just haven't found the time. The review makes it sound cool.

I rate media outlets based on how their reviews correspond with mine and EDGE has always been far off. Not a great publication imo but exclusive content is good.

It is a great game. But on my ipad mini it crashes almost every battle. Now i have time for other stuff. :(

The review of Child of Light is odd. The writer keeps saying things in the vein of "yep, that is a Ubisoft game" to trends that were never invented nor they're unique to Ubisoft like leveling systems and padding.

Aye, but they're systems Ubisoft feels like they have to insert in to every game, in some form or another. Just systems for the sake of systems.

Seems like I'm missing out on Child of Light. Is the game that good GAF ? Off to watch some reviews.
do you like turn-based RPGs with a fantastic soundtrack? do you have patience for ho-hum stories and juvenile rhymes? if yes, then it's the game for you.

that really is an awesome issue. i might buy it - i want to read every feature i think

a making of of a game that never released in the uk tho :(

It's an incredible gateway into the genre for the newer player. Great tutorializing, and everything is simple and intuitive as far as UI and core game mechanics. But like best of these sorts of games, it's only deceptively simple. Underneath it all lies a fairly deep gaming experience.
