Not sure wr is the pick for browns in 2nd, looks like still a good amount of O line talent left

I like Bitonio as a RT. No way he falls to the Rams so hopefully the Browns snag him. Will be in play for lots of teams, though. Lots of teams need OL help, including the Texans

Look its not really even squickening when most of you heathens dont believe in JFF in the first place. I believe. Everybody will will eventually believe.

You will not tear this community asunder into supporters of midget goblins and defenders of tall, austere warriors.

Clear winners of round one are the Vikings and the Browns. We did good y'all.

Hope we meet at the superbowl!

If the Rams weren't a joke it'd be a bigger story getting a monster like Robinson and a stud 3 technique like Donald. But they still can't cover anyone or score points so oh well!

What makes the Browns big winners is the larceny they had over the Bills. On a pure player perspective, I have the Rams having the best first round easily

WTF is this goblin? I never seen that before.

Apparently Cleveland thought they had to get ahead of KC if they wanted JFF. Plan was to trade up if he got past Dallas. That kind of puts a different spin on the Alex Smith contract talks

I'm sure people said that about Tebow back when (still probably do). Something about him reminds me of Tebow a lot. Not sure what, but...

While I'm happy we got Manziel it's still probably something haunting and hilarious. Can you imagine him making a call home after that

"Guess what Ma, I"m going to Cleveland!"

Who can say that with a smile

So is this Kevin Benjamin for the Panthers any good? I dont keep up with college ball.

Tall, throw it up and catch it type WR. Not that fast, had the slowest 60 yard shuttle of any receiver at the combine, and not a great route runner. I'm not very high on him, but he's a decent pick at that spot and receiver was an absolute must.

i wonder if Lee from USC has some type of serious medical issue. he seemed to beast in college so i don't understand why he is dropping. maybe he'll make it to the late 2nd round and we can draft him/stash him for a year like lattimore!

I think JFF is the second best player of this year. So Browns did well and he will make a lot of other teams cry next year. I am a believer as well.

I wouldve picked Marquise Lee, Donte McCrief and Abbrederis (from wisconsin) all ahead of him. He was good but had Jameis throwing it to him.

He will go in the top 5 of the second round. He dropped because he's not a #1 wide receiver, he's not tall, he has durability issues, and had way too many drops last year

He seemed to expect it and had a good attitude. My brother lives within walking distance of the Browns front office and training facilities so I'm hoping we go check him out during one of the public scrimmages.

Imagine if the Browns got Sammy Watkins and then got Manziel. Now that would have been amazing.

Im yet to watch the footage of the draft but I heard that JFF said yesterday that he would make all the teams that passed on him regret it.

So I think at that point he realised he was not going to go early and there were a lot of teams with high picks that werent going to select him.

I think he is an absolute steal.

Benjamin's ceiling is higher than any of those guys.

I still can't even believe the Bills gave up a first next year to move up 5 spots and draft Sammy Watkins. What a monumental blunder.

Yeah he does have a better physique and not as injured as Lee, but he is not as good a player now as Lee and Abbrederus are (plus the kick return and also Lee rushes).

Compared to McCrief, he is a better player than him now but McCrief has more upside in my opinion, hes a much better athlete than Benjamin.

I feel like he's a risk just like a lot of teams did and the Browns know all about college QB's not working out in the NFL, so I was glad they didn't take him at 4 (as we can see now, it wasn't an urgent pick and we had room with our second pick) so it was just a matter of hoping he was still there or trading to get him which didn't matter much due to how many picks we have.

He knew it and the only person that didn't know it was Gruden, but he seemed honestly happy to be picked by the Browns who has shown interest in him for a while.

I think he CAN be a steal and it's worth the risk since we had 2 picks. I only wish we still went ahead and got Watkins to create the nastiest receiving team possible to give no excuses for QB's coming to Cleveland. Defense has a few holes now, but it's still really strong while the offense is what needs to be improved the most, but I'm still relatively happy with our first pick even if the analysts weren't.

I want Manziel to blow everyone away to shut up his haters and Browns haters all at once. I hope Hoyer comes back and plays like he did last year but his recovery is slow and we have no clue if that was just a Derek Anderson fluke situation or not, but I liked what we saw of him and think Manziel could learn a lot this year and then blow everyone away the following year.

That made me laugh way too much. Well played. He's a risk and I'm glad they passed on him with their first pick. I was hoping a miracle happened and Bortles was still available at 4 myself...lol

Everyone said that benjamin is raw and a prospect but if he pans out he can be really great. You can't teach his size.

the thing about it is i'm sure the browns considered watkins and maybe others at their spot but when a team comes at you like buffalo did.... i mean that's an offer you just can't refuse 99% of the time. obviously if you had a guy like andrew luck sitting there you say fuck off but anything short of that and you drop down 5 spots, set yourself up nicely for next year and still get a quality player at 9 which they did

i would like to see teams like the browns and bills have a little success. what a brutal past decade or so that it has been

To be honest, I saw a lot more of McCrief than Benjamin being a Ole Miss fan so I probably over rate him a bit (and may mistake Treadwell for him sometimes!).

Yeah you cant teach size, but whose to say Benjamin hasnt reached his potential already?

Benjamin, to me, does not represent enough reward over Lee or Abbrederus for the risk of selecting him now. If he gets better, how much better than Lee or Abbrederus can he get? Not so much better that it is worth picking him ahead of the other two in my opinion.
