My biggest issue is that Brightwing with Arcane Precision becomes a major minion clearer. Malfurion with one of the talents for his root skill can push towers and waste their ammo. Uther is Uther. I love Li Li to death and I personally play her while ignoring any of the self-heal talents even when solo support and do my best to predict the enemy so I never die more than once or twice even during games where my team is getting steamrolled. But she's utility and sustain meaning she loses all damage related presence once the early game ends. I literally can't in good conscious play her when there's an Abathur player on my team.
Seriously, play around with the active spell talents on Li Li. Just ignore the self heal traits and play smarter. She doesn't need them. Being able to heal yourself isn't the only thing you need to stay in lane; you also need the ability to push back. I could be wrong, but you can still use the active spells while channeling Jug of 1,000 cups.
My real issue with Li Li is that I don't know how to buff her. She's not meant to have damage. If you increase the base range on her abilities it makes her too easy. You can make Healing Brew a player targetted skill, but then you'd have to up the cooldown and she'll start to become more of a burst healer then. My best guess is to replace Cloud Serpent with some new utility or defensive skill (I'd actually like something that boosted nearby minions in some way), or to change the scaling on Cloud Serpent's damage so it's actually scarier late game while lowering its base duration to compensate. Or maybe have Cloud Serpent's damage scale off the attack power of the hero it's attached to?
Also, the fact that her Healing Brew's mana recovery rate is actually faster than Malfurion's Innervate (From Level 1 Healing Brew recovers 200 mana every 30 seconds. At best Malfurion can keep up with a talent to reduce Innervate's cooldown but will get outpaced in the mid to late game again) is pretty cool.
One very easy thing they can do now (which I believe they said they were doing) is have it such that casting her skills never causes her to stop or slow down.
