Nintendo E3 2014 - discussion thread for their E3 plans

I do wonder if we might get an announcement of a Majora's Mask 3DS remake at E3, though. It would be kind of amazing to see three Zelda games between Zelda U, Hyrule Warriors and Majora's Mask 3D at E3, but pretty much an overkill at the same time.

The only thing I'd love to see more would be Zelda U being heavily inspired by Majora's Mask. Even 15 years later, I still haven't find another games with an NPC system as great as Majora's. I wish someone woud get back to that kind of thing.
 
There's absolutely no pattern in Zelda subtitles. Shards of Nightmare is dark and probably fake but don't say it can't happen.

If we had told you The Wind Waker after Majora's Mask or The Minish Cap, nobody would have believed it. So let's wait.

"Shards of Nightmare" is an obvious fake, simply because it's trying too hard to sound dark. It's such an obvious attempt by a fan to try to get his point across that the new Zelda is dark and edgy instead of being cartoony.

Those are actually good names though. I'd definitely believe you.

Most fake Zelda titles sound like expanded universe Star Wars books.

For some titles it seems as if he used a thesaurus or dictionary (or a random generator, indeed), I mean, Dreamline Dravyn? I had to look dravyn up, according to Urban Dictionary it's supposed to be the "offspring of a dragon and a raven".

I think that name sucks too, I don't believe in it either. But I find people in this thread really categoric about this subject.

Zelda names always stick to the game "new mechanic". We don't know anything about it. What if the next Zelda is super dark, about dreams and involve some kind of mirror. When said like this, I agree, this sounds terrible. But once again, we don't know anything about the next Zelda.

In the fake Zelda logos, more than half of them could totally happen. Ok, there's the synagogue one that has no chance. And I think the more medieval ones referring to dragons can't happen either. But hey what do i know ? Maybe dragons is the theme of Zelda U.

you have a point maybe there'll hold off Majoras Mask 3D for another Direct later in the year

Funnily enough, after Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, I thought a cool subtitle for the next game would be The Legend of Zelda: The Immortal Orchestra.
 
Better try new subtitles with legit subtitles parts.

Never doubt the lengths GAF will go through to find news.
This is also why Nintendo makes its own fortress every year, now. You literally can not look inside their booth until the floor opens. They create a giant fort that is impenetrable.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Princess
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Majora
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Awakening

These are all better, and more believable names than those random fan ones.. :/
