Halo 3 was fucking amazing. If Halo 5 is a return to what made 3 great I'll actually buy an XB1. Multiplayer in 3 was glorious.

I can bet money that phrase will be thrown around a LOT till the game is released. Also bet money it will be purely lip service. The series is too far gone and CoD is way too popular.

But its still Halo. How bad could they possibly screw the pooch? Cant be worse than Reach or 4.

The reason seems pretty obvious: make space for what really matters for them to have an impactful keynote at E3.

Halo 5 has already been announced, so throwing some extra info as a way to hype people less than a month away from E3 is expected. And apparently it really works.

Although even fw updates hype GAF, so we're kinda biased.

The single player story was nonsical bullshit but the competitive multiplayer was great. I loved the multiplayer in Reach too.

Played Halo 1 to give it a try. Utterly disappointing game imo, played through in one session to get rid of it. Played 30 minutes of Halo 2, because everyone said "Look, the first game was just a first try, a new franchise". Same game same disappointment.

Haven´t played Halo 3 and 4 due to that experiences. Dunno if i missed anything. Perhaps Halo 5 will change my view.

I've played some of Halo, and finished Halo 2. Played a lot of Halo MP back in school. Tried some Halo 3. Been holding out for a PC release of the games. Guess I'll have to wait forever for them to get on Steam. Also, any clue on news?
