We’ll give you much more information about our plans for this year at the Xbox E3 2014 Media Briefing on June 9, and we’re confident that “Halo” fans will be pretty excited about the special plans we have in store."

So yeah ther will be Halo 2 Anniversary, perhaps even 3 and 4 next year? Great news for those who loved the games.

Ultimately I think this is what matters. MS needs people to get stupidly hyped about its console again, and making concrete moves that involve the Halo franchise is a sure-fire way.

I don't know why people are surprised about the fall 2015 date, it was to be expected. But I thought they would announce H2 Anniversary first.

I also admit H3 is the only Halo game I've ever finished. H1 I barely played, H2 never played, and hated Halo Wars...

Anyway, now we wait until E3.
