Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 7: How Can My Smash Brother Be This Cut

The Thursdaytons are real. Like I said before, really glad they are promoting their Super Smash Bros E3 plans over a long period of time now. As well as their other stuff, but Smash is the biggest game at E3 this year.

Might have a lot to do with it being their big winter title.

Which is probably a bad idea overall, but if you're going to do it, might as well hype it to hell and back.

But Mario got a "M" on his cap while Luigi got something similar to this "L"...i think he got a L because he is "L"arger than Mario who is "M"edium sized? Am I right?
Yes, and Wario is W for Wide.
But what if Mario gets a mushroom? Then Luigi gets the L because he's "L"ittler than "M"ega Mario! I can't keep up if everything keeps changing on me!
And Wario is "W"ombo sized confirmed.
You people are all ignoring the important question, though: who's "S"? Who's "XL"?

This outline stuff...

What's Graphics Horse doing in the background, there?

I stopped caring after the Smash Direct, it oversaturated me.

So who is going to create the obligatory Nintendo E3 hype thread? Time to get that hype train rollin' son.
The only hype thread necessary

If the winner of the contest get a surprise match up vs Sakurai, it would be like a dream come true.
Someone a few pages back (sorry, don't remember who!) had the idea of Sakurai facing the winner, using a previously unseen newcomer. Won't happen, but man that'd be a cool way to introduce a character.

That doesn't make sense, there's still grand finals.

"Winners" also doesn't make sense!

Eh, at last year's E3, he immediately played w/ wii fit trainer after her reveal, and then did a 1v1 with megaman, who was also recently revealed that morning. It's very plausible.

Good point. If they were to do it, I wonder who'd they choose. I guess Pac-Man is the most likely? Haha, can you imagine the screams from thousands of Smash fans if it was Ridley?

Kinda sad when you realize that the Wii U's big winter title is a game that's been out on the 3DS for several months.

Gracias. I assume the mario thing is referencing the kirby thing then.

Hyrule Warriors confirmed to have DLC:

I know Tecmo is making it, but this is making seem much more likely that Smash could have some DLC.

Hey, that's my thing to do! Take news from other games and see if they can work with smash bros!
I did it with mario kart youtube implementation, and before that, I did it with NFP.

We can be desperate for real news together! Anytime I hear about another Nintendo game adding a feature, my first thought is how it could benefit in Smash.

The winners thing probably refers to the top placing players.

I don't think any other game having DLC has any bearing to Smash having DLC.

I'm not saying Smash won't have DLC, just saying that other Nintendo games having DLC really means nothing other then some of Nintendo's games have DLC. And we've known that Nintendo has DLC for some of their games for a long time.

Omega Force is not going to be moving on to non-Musou projects any time in the future.

Namco's Smash team is going to be making non-Smash games because they're not a solely-Smash team.

Of course, it could go either way. I guess it's still weird for me to see Nintendo so onboard the DLC train, with no signs of them getting off anytime soon.
