If anything being thin and of avg height he has the advantage. Strength doesnt come into the equation much if you have a knife.

I think people tend to forget that a knife is a lethal weapon. It doesn't really matter what size he is or how strong he is, having a weapon is an equalizer. You don't even need to be strong to plunge a knife into somebody's chest.

I don't understand why he didn't seek the services of a professional if he was so concerned with being a virgin. If it was because of legality issues, he lived within driving distance to Nevada where prostitution is legally allowed in certain areas.
Reading his manifesto, I don't get the impression that this guy would have had the drive to acquire guns if they were illegal. I mean, even after he decided that he would become a millionaire, all he did to accomplish this goal was to buy tickets in two jackpot lotteries. And he sincerely believed that he absolutely would win both of them, and was utterly crushed after losing them.
So, while I don't think this is true in every case, I think stricter gun control would've prevented this incident.

Reading his "manifesto", one weird thing is that he was incredibly ashamed of his so-called pathetic life, but yet was very upfront about it with anyone who would interact with him.

He was bragging that he came from nobility/wealth (if that's true) and felt as if he was above A LOT of people.

After reading his manifesto and watching some of his videos, I agree he had social disorders, an ego, a complex, was a sensitive child, needed special attention from his parents but was neglected... all of those things and more. I'd also have to agree with some of the comments elsewhere that I don't think he was straight.
Stabbing someone in the throat is a guaranteed kill. Even a small pocket knife would be enough. Anyone can kill anyone if they set their mind to it. Size doesn't really matter. A 4 foot tall girl with one arm could kill someone as long as they had the drive.

Because even if not explicitly stated, much of those attitudes are implicitly ladened into our society and culture. A holdover from less enlightened times maybe, or just a naturally emergent result of the confluence of a great many people of a great variability of ability.
A lonely guy without a social group of peers to defuse his echo chamber of thoughts could concievably pick up on all these implicit cues and over obsess on them to the point where it seemed as though this *is* how the world operates (and how everyone else believes it to also be the case).
It's remarkable how distorted his world view was... but I'm sure he's not unique in his views, unfortunate as that may be.

After reading some of his writings i can sort of see where he's coming being a a very late virgin myself however he let his insecurities and sense of entitlement define him which lead to tragedy, i can't empathise with him at all he went fucking crazy.

The manifesto says that cops visited his place a couple months ago when he first started posting videos on youtube. His mother was worried about him. But he told the cops that he wasn't suicidal. And apparently he was seeing two therapists.
So the question is...where is the line? How do you truly know if someone could end up doing something like this? Yes, there were warning signs, but were there enough to have him taken out of society? That always requires more than 'warning signs'. You can only do so much without violating a person's rights.
