Watch Playstation's E3 conference in movie theaters

Not exactly this, but when we were at the Uncharted 2 event Amy Hennig was talking about the level we were seeing and then announced to all of us that we'd all be going home with a goodie bag tonight and that in each of those was a copy of Uncharted 2.

Everyone went nuts (like super loud cheering) and then we started the tournament :P

hey - that's good enough for me! can't wait.

i'd take a game or camera :)

Whats the point of this?

Allow me

Why do that when you can now do this

Welll I got my ticket. The worst that can happen, I will feel like a dork.

Otherwise, Sony must have an outstanding show lined up and it will be awesome. I will allow myself to nerd out in public this once.

My mom, dad, and younger brother are all going! I'm here in Karachi, Pakistan tho kicking it up on a stream with my 1 mb internet.

Go less than an hour away to Orlando and see a half of hour of Dewrito Keighley exclusive gameplay/interviews in a pimp-ass theater with the added benefit of free stuff...

or

Watch GAF reactions
Decisions, decisions.

Closest is over an hour away in Columbus. While it would be awesome to watch the stream in a massive theater, I think I'll be fine chillin' at home with some cold brews and pizza. Besides, the next day at work would be absolute hell.

i'm in long beach ca. and the nearest one in LA is santa monica, id ont think i want to drive there during rush hour traffic, so i'll just stay home and watch it on my couch

The theater may have wifi. You know everyone will bring a phone/tablet and try to record the screen with it.

Yeah. I'm stuck in Bakersfield, myself, and no way in hell am I driving through all that traffic.

If they're doing this, surely they have a pretty big show planned? Anyway, UK always misses out of this sort of cool stuff :(

Luckily I'm having a big E3 day at mine, so should be fun either way.

I kind of want to go to the Indy one, but when I critically think about it there is no real reason why I want to other than to say I did. Plus, I am sure I would have to deal with the dreaded "one-upper" video game fan that always has a better story than you, is better than video games than you, and has more information than you. I usually only run into a couple of these gamers at things like Blizzcon, QuakeCon, etc, but it seems that any time a console is related (such as Watch Dog's midnight release) I run into a lot more of these bastards.

This announcement does lead me to believe that E3 this year is going to have a better showing than I expected. I just hope it doesn't end up being Sony E3 brought to you by Taco Bell and hosted by Tyler the Creator.
