Lian Li will release a desk / PC case hybrid in July for $1,000 and $1,200

After teasing us for a few months, Lian Li has finally put a price and release date on two of its aluminium computer desks. There’s the DK-01, which is smaller (81 lbs/37 kg) and only has space for one motherboard, and the full-size DK-02 (100 lbs/45 kg) with space for two motherboards. They will be available in North America in July, priced $1000 and $1200 respectively. There is a third desk, a very low (500mm) single-motherboard model called the DK-Q1, but there’s no price or release date on it yet.

It's fucking beautiful and I want one.

I... I think I'd buy this

I think I will buy this

My wife is going to be so impressed annoyed

I'm tired of always fighting for where to put cables and my tower

This solves everything

It looks kinda shitty for a work desk. But, WHO CARES?! MASTER RACE TIME!

It seems like there's a smaller one, too?

EDIT: Ah, i see. the squareish one was the one they were talking about.

It's pretty cool, but too expensive and impractical for me (space and moving issues). Also, I love traditional desktop cases too much.

Bah I don't like the styling and am usually in love with lian li cases

The shape puts me off

Pointy knees...Pointy knees everywhere!

why not get a nice table/desk and hide your PC. Use wireless mouse and Keyboard and you have a much nice setup.

With a home studio, I wonder how many rattles and jingles you get when you work with audio recording. Definitely interested in a closer look for sure.

Looks sick but I would like it a lot more if you could not have the keyboard shelf sticking out. Just set your KB/M on the desk. Maybe you can I don't know.

A desk with a smartly built in PC is a great Idea. But I do not like the design of that thing. I like my keybard and mouse on level with the monitor and just have general working and living place around the whole PC part.

My dream is a simple, elegant and sturdy desk like this, but with a smartly built in PC. smart cable and socket management, usb ports and switches near the rim... that would be sweet!

Ridiculous. Why not pick up a Fractal Design or Corsair instead for $100 and spend the $900 on a 780ti or other things
I don't think this is targeted to people who need to manage a tight budget.

I like the idea, but I don't like my keyboard being that low.
Same. I love the industrial design and the general idea, but I'm not a fan in terms of ergonomics.

That's hideous, I'd rather have a PC case under my desk than that monstrosity. It's hardly contemporary and would be very out of place in my home.
