Last nght I had a dream that jigglypuff was the next veteran revealed, and we found out at E3 that her up taunt was replaced by sing, and her down taunt was replaced by rest, and she had 2 new moves as a result. (And therefore 2 of her taunts were actually abilities)
Oh, also, popeye was an assist trophy.
Well, the first part at least. Not sure about the Popeye thing lol.

I'm not surprised. In my experience, online multiplayer is always unreliable on consoles. I can't do more than a few matches in Soul Calibur without connection interruptions, and trying to summon anyone in Dark Souls is a mess. So I'm not too optimistic about Smash's online (though I'm certain it'll be better than Brawl's.)

Nintendo would somehow have to negotiate it w/ square, and then, you know square would want someone like Lightning in the game first before they allowed geno.

Plus, IIRC, Sakurai's policy with 3rd party characters is that the 3rd parties have to ask Nintendo to include them, so the only way Geno was getting in was if Square-Enix asked him to include him, which would probably never happen, since they'd probably want a big name Final Fantasy character like Cloud or Lightning in there instead.

I think Lightning is one of the few characters that could kill sales for this game, at least in the west.
There haven't been any instances of that. Sakurai asked Sega and Capcom for Sonic and Mega Man, and Kojima wanted to see Snake in Smash Bros.

Man, someone should make a post with every single fake character select screen haha. It would be amazing to see in comparison to the real one that we will likely see at E3.

I don't know :/ We'll see it at E3 anyway, and I doubt sakurai wants to put up the 'real' character select up yet, and he almost definitely doesn't want to put a screenshot from the DEMO up on the smash bros page, either.

Rosalina is literally a goddess. For all we know the higher being Geno was sent by was Rosalina. It would make sense.
I'm pretty sure the only one who asked about getting their character in was Kojima with Snake. Though if you have a source that would be appreciated.
What makes you assume that?
The fact they finally showed off the 3DS HUD? I think during E3, we'll get a great look at both UI's and select screens, maybe even new music.

Weird how it's so close, all of a sudden. I felt like when Nintendo announced the dates for their E3 conference it was going to be a long ass wait.
It feels like they announced that stuff last year, and it's only been about a month!
Smash bros distorts time to make it take longer.
At the time, people thought the E for All select screen was nonsensical and random, but the characters were actually laid out in the same order as the final version of Brawl. We might be able to get an idea of how big this game's roster will be (and maybe even how many characters each series will have) based on the E3 demo.
In the E for all, there are 6 characters max per row and a total of 3 rows, whereas brawl final has max 9 per row and 4 rows. I don't think anyone would have been able to figure that out. based on that screen. That E4All looks like it takes up a majority of the real estate. I think he did a good job of hiding total in final roster, and i expect the same this time.

Ubisoft wanted Rayman in for Smash 4. Sakurai was having nine of that. Lol.
One can only hope. The invitational + the controller announced bumped it by another 30+ pages.
Any picture of the day can bump anywhere from a measly 3 pages if it's something we already know, like the jetpack, to something like 40 if it's a veteran reveal.
It all depends on what sakurai does this week, but it would have to be megaton after megaton, and i don't see it happening.
I'm expecting filler party.

Swear to God I remember reading an interview with Inafune or something where he said something to the effect of "Mega Man isn't in Brawl because I assumed that Nintendo was going to ask us for him, but found out that we had to ask them to include him, and by then it was too late."

Well, they can still get to see some of the 3DS stuff since that's going to be on the show floor too.
Just checked the release date and it says 2014. Which means It's probably be a march or something release date. But I'd much rather have it rather than sooner than later. I bought myself Brawl and the Wii the exact day Smash Bros for the Wii came out. Plan on doing the same for Wii U Brawl :O Played a little Project M at a local college and it wasn't bad, but it's not the Wii U published by Nintendo. =/ Idk tho All I know is that whenever Brawl Wii U comes out Imma get my hands on it. It's gonna be so bad ass lol.
