The thread title is funny but it's kind of an in-joke, which I'd avoid making.

I remember a lot of people in the last thread (myself included) didn't understand the reference; it went right over the heads of those who aren't really interested in anime. It was still funny, though. With this one, most of the regulars will either have seen that post or will have seen enough of the Miiverse to understand where it came from.

I think random unlocks are fun in Mario Kart since new characters don't affect a race too much, but they would suck in Smash since every character adds something new to the game and getting a character earlier could lead to unfair advantages.

Game should open with two modes. Practice Mode and Unlock Mode. Only character available is Mario. In Unlock Mode you select Mario, the first character you fight is Link. Best him, and he unlocks. Then Kirby and so on until you've unlocked every character in the game. All other modes unlock when you've beaten your third character (giving you 4 to choose from).
