After experiencing DS2 in 60FPS it will be kinda sad to see this run at 30FPS. It's by no means a deal breaker; a Souls game is still a Souls game and I'll be buying it no matter what, but these games feel and plays so much better at 60FPS IMO.

I 100% agree with you. After platinuming DS2 on PS3 I built a PC shortly after and bought DS2 again because of the 1080p60 upgrade. Not tyring to go full PC Elitist here but wow the difference is unreal. Though graphics aren't everything, it made the game much more enjoyable. However, I will be buying Project Beast of whatever this game is called regardless or resolution or frame rate.

Yes, I absolutely LOVED the VoD. So filmic.

First of all..lol.

Second of all... I hope they let the VoD trope die. I can't tell if they genuinely think if it's a good idea or if they design it just to intentionally frustrate consumers.

Imagine if they don't show the full trailer at E3. I think that would be one of the biggest let downs in video game history.

I hope the trope dies just because we've seen it 3 times, each worse than the previous one.

That said, i don't see what's so bad about it, especially DkS2's was one of the easiest areas in the game, you could literally run to the (very easy to boot) boss without much problems at all.

Why are Sony fans so accepting of trolls? Aren't you all getting fed up of not being able to have a single thread about a PS4 game ruined page after page? Serious question. It doesn't matter what thread it is: Driveclub, The Order or this, the result is always the same. It becomes a mess after about 5 or so pages.

I'm not moaning about Gaf, I'm genuinely interested in knowing why threads like Horizon are able to float along relatively unhindered.
Sony threads always bring out the trolls. There is a definitive double standard when it comes to posting negative shit in a thread.

I don't think it is confirmed either way. However it would be great if Project Beast ran at 60FPS.

30FPS isn't a big deal to me though. I played DS1 at 30FPS (on my PC) and I loved all 100 hours of it.

Well, "they" can't attack the hardware (performance gap), or the sales (NPD + worldwide) anymore. Now they're attacking the games ;-)
They're last hope ;P

Bad news everybody:

30fps is fine, as long as it is 30fps, not 13 or whatever bullshit Blighttown is.

60fps is a godsend for non-shield, roll based builds, in my opinion.

Tried the 4Kings on NG+ with my no shield build like 4 times, dying, in 30fps.
Tried in 60fps and won on the first try, by getting 99% of the rolls right.

It's certainly very preferable, and personally, I think it does have a big impact on how good a game looks, but if it's 30, real 30, I won't complain.

Yup. Demons and Dark felt just fine to me (with the usual exceptions) on PS3. It wasn't until the constantly chugging frame rate (PS3 version) and the tweaks to the rolling system in DS2 that I felt that 60fps was a major improvement.

As long as they make the controls responsive and the hit-boxes fair, 30fps will not be an issue for me.
