Yeah, if you or anyone else can think of some stuff that can likely be answered by people playing the demo, let me know! I'll check them off as they're answered by trailers, tournament, people playing the demo, etc. I'm only accepting footage/screenshots as evidence for hats and anything NEW like an item, assist trophy, or final smash!
And several other Kirby games, some of which where she literally painted the bosses you then fought. If much prefer her over Bowser Jr as a painter character.

I'm excited that someone will finally have impressions of the game. Especially those who have viciously played the past games.
After Ike was confirmed I'd be shocked if anyone was cut besides Snake, and even his chances are at least 50-50 imo. I'm still not sure if I believe the second leak but I'd be fine if it were true. If no characters were cut and the 13 leaked newcomers are legit we'd be up to 50 characters, there's no way there won't be a new DK newcomer seeing as it has regained its status as one of Nintendo's tentpole franchises. I want K Rool, but Dixie is likely, and Cranky is the wild card.
The way I see it the worst case scenario is 50 characters, Snake, Squirtle, and Ivysaur cut and 14 newcomers including a new DK character.

Yeah, their input is the one I will value most as it will impact how long this smash bros is played or if people will just revert back to melee again.

Speaking of friends, I hope it's easy to see who is online and hopefully it's easy to invite/join as well. Having to get on gaf, message people, and coordinate, then sit and wait is no bueno!

Oh god, yes. That was such a pain when we were doing the Brawl tourney shortly after release.
I haven't tried playing mario kart 8 with friends, but it seems like no one is complaining. Hopefully smash has decent ideas, tournament support, friend lobbies, something like that. I plan on adding a ton of you guys, but i'm way too lazy to do it now.
Also, I'm totally not great at smash, so I hope people here will be willing to either put up with me or teach me how to play better!

Our Smash tournament and demo impression thread is still in progress. I'm still working with designer to make sure that we would provide a good OT for demo, impression and tournament. It would be awesome if we can gathering all impressions in one thread and discuss about Smash engine itself.

I'd volunteer but i rarely have free time. I'm usually only available on weekends and weeknights after 8 or 9.
Wavedashing requires directional air dodging, which appears to be gone, so, very very low. I also don't want it back.

I don't care if smash gaffers preferred to be on MarioKartGAF team if they want to. It's just harmless competitive between MKGAF and SGAF if people actually respect that.
Yeah well, everything had probably been set in stone at the time and it was simply polish time, even though they kept on cramming a lot of stuff until the end and still a lot was left on the cutting floor.
Remember that Sonic's addition was a rushed mess and he was already playable by October '07, a month or two for a game the size and scope of Smash is crunch time.
I'm not denying that :O They're almost definitely in crunch time for smash 3ds. There's no way the game isn't feature-complete by now. Wii U probably is too. The gap is probably for polishing (not creating) art assets, particularly in stages, as well as whatever unique modes/features the wii U one has. I also wouldn't be surprised if they want to incorporate bug fixes/balance updates based on early smash 3ds play/data.
