All the maps is such good news too. Surely MP will be really messy right? If every game has its complete own MP system. Also will Halo 3 be the exact same game or have a little face lift?

It's not three separate games, you all matchmake together, then the map from a game comes up and it loads you all into that game. The only separation is for each match.

Pretty sure that is not true. They showed separate playlists in addition to the combined one

this is campaign, but I dont see why MP would be different

Anniversary is on the Halo 1 engine, the only difference is the textures and models can swap out.

Oh wait you mean when it used the reach multi? good question.

My understanding at this point is that they are giving Halo 2 the full anniversary treatment. Same as Halo CEA. They have upgraded the graphics of 6 of the Halo 2 maps. I would assume the 6 most popular. We have seen ascension. We can only assume Midship and Lock out will be 2 more of those. I have asked Bonnie via Twitter to confirm the other 5 maps. All 100+ maps are available on this disk with their MP untouched. The lobby system hasn't been confirmed yet, but thy did speak about playlists during the reveal.

Fuck, this was far beyond anything anyone could have pictured. To think that I and many others thought it would have been far too much work just to get the single player for all 4 games redone alone, they go and remaster:

Well damn, between this and all of the other games shown onscreen, I guess I'll be getting an Xbox One far sooner than I thought.

Jeff Gerstmann said that when he saw the demo before E3 it was running on a pc with proper mouse support and keyboard prompts... They would'nt do that if the game wasn't coming to PC.

I'm all for preserving the original experience, but there's some bugs they have to squash in Halo 2. Superbouncing for one.

Superbouncing is not a bug, it's a feature.
