Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (Naughty Dog) Shown - 2015

Honestly that trailer was too dark for me. Uncharted games are colorful for the most part and humor is there even if situation is really fuc**d up. This is a bit too serious.

Might even be ND's last Uncharted, pass it off to another studio but there's no way it's the last one. Last in this story line I bet, last for ND, but last one, not a chance.
 
I wasn't too impressed until I saw that 60fps version. Holy shit, what a difference.

Definitely going to have to get a PS4 next year.

All good things must come to an end. Naughty Dog seems at its best when it doesn't stand still for too long. I like that each generation has seen the studio grow and expand beyond anything we'd imagined. As amazing as it looks, I'm actually disappointed that Uncharted managed to worm its way into the next gen instead of seeing a new IP from them.

Uncharted had gotten more serious with each entry, but each previous game has still been lighthearted fun. So far this looks like it's going all out with the drama. Maybe Drake married Elena and has a son who will take over for him once his final adventure ends with this game.
 
The visuals look so goddamn stunning. I hope it actually looks like that.

This was, being totally honest, my most favourite part of all day. This is what I was looking forward to the most.

If this is the final UC game, I hope they go out on top. I hope it's not the final one though. I hope there's more life to the series.

Drake, you're my bro! Don't die! Just team up with Sully and Elena and be cool and happy!

Though I don't mind the more serious tone if that's what they're shooting for. Drake is my life
 
honestly I still can't swallow what we have seen is real time in-engine graphics. its very much look like CG from those Square Enix final fantasy games. something is off here.

I know naughty dogs are talented, but this strikes me as something the ps4 or even high end pc can't do lol.

I know what they have said real time etc. but I am going to reserve judgment on this one.

the order is also a Sony game and so was infamous. yet none of them are even half close to what we have seen here. and I doubt the developers of infamous / RAD are lacking

HOLY SHIT. I've never been more impressed by a game trailer yet. Naughty GODS indeed. The face animation, the sand, the water in the background, the bokeh. I had a hard time imagining how they could top the Dark Sorcerer demo and The Order 1886, but they've done it. And at 60 FPS? GODS.

My guess: this is realtime, but the gameplay will be toned down a little bit.

Well, remember this: everything in UC3 was also in-engine. The game didn't look like the cinematic sequences. The footage shown today was just like the UC3 cinematics, as in it was in-engine footage. Gameplay will, more than likely, look downgraded in comparison, but should still look amazing.
 
Finally watched the 1080p 60fps version of the trailer. Wow, the game looks amazing. Maybe we will get gameplay and another trailer at the VGX?

So much hype. Imagine how amazing the sequel to The Last of Us is going to look!

Just like every other Uncharted/TLOU, the in-engine cutscenes will look better than the gameplay bits. This will be the same thing.

By listening to a dialogue between Nathan and Sully I couldn't help but think of Sony as Nathan and Naughty Dog as Sully. "One last time" says Sully.

Could be something there....

It's called developing for the lowest common denominator. You can't realistically develop games that look this good without having an audience to pay for it. There simply aren't enough people running high end video cards to justify a developer making a game that utilizes high-end video cards.
 
Granted its just trailer that leaves a lot to speculation but

1) wasn't it heavily rumored that you wouldn't be playing as drake? Guess that's dead

2) I don't like the whole "just one more time" thing not even because it foreshadows someone dying but because wasn't that pretty much the whole crux of Uncharted 3? That he goes on these escapades while thoughtlessly putting his friends lives in danger for no real reason. Didn't he supposedly learn some shit at the end about not having to do that shit cuz he has nothing to prove? Just feels like more validation that UC3 was a bit subpar

Do like that they're going back to the jungle tho
