Cockpit cam confirmed? :D

Happy it's announced, but it better be pretty fucking polished considering how long we have to wait.

Otherwise it's a dick move to try to get people to double dip.

Eurogamer said:
Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will include an array of visual upgrades and a few tweaked features, Rockstar has said.

The new versions will boast better draw distances, improved texture details and denser traffic. New forms of wildlife will also be included, as well as upgraded weather and damage effects and "an array of new details to discover".

GTA5's PC version will include a video editor for movie-making within the game's world, too.

Existing add-on content for multiplayer mode GTA Online is also expected to be included.

"Grand Theft Auto 5 looks and feels stunning enhanced by the power of these new platforms," Rockstar founder Sam Houser said in a statement. "We can't wait for players to experience a new level of detail to this massive world."

Go for it if you feel comfortable with it. I´m not sure yet. Building an interior without using it feels like something R* would do.

Feel free to use my pics.

GTA IV had detailed car noise. You could hear the working of the clutch and engine going up and down the gears. And the bite of the handbrake teeth when stationary. Thing is, it was only audible in bonnet cam and without the radio on. Was a massive detail that was almost hidden away. So they've got form for it.

I would love to see an enhanced Red Dead Redemption like the way GTA5 was enhanced! (Not that it wasn't beautiful before) ... Probably unlikely, but if not, I hope we get a new game in that series as well. :) That said, I am glad I waited on picking this game up!

I hope they fix the save bug in the city where the current progress of the save is so deep in that you see a lot of duplicate cars as the one you're driving. Shit's been going on since San Andreas, but I think V was at its absolute worst.

as great as the next gen port looks, i still think that going by this trailer, the lighting was more natural looking on PS360.

Maybe it's just different TOD, dunno

Contrast was way too high i guess..

Don't know if I should preorder for ps4 or wait how the pc port performs.. hope my i7 2600k and my 7970 can still deliver...

It will be interesting to see about the online mode in these versions, imo R* have done a great job clearing out the trash who were cheating and hacking. I like stuff they've added like the mental state marker, means avoiding griefers is easy. And I can get on with hunting down those bounties.

In the race mode they've given the host the option to have the cars not react to each other but only NPC cars and the environment, so now races are about your singular skill and not bumping people off the road at the start of the race.

Thats good to hear, hype is growing way too fast for the late release :D

I havent played gta online since my garage got deleted because of a bug.. but it seems they already fixed most of the annoying issues and bugs.

Bugs have been fixed. Now you are left with uninterrupted, boring gameplay. They really need to work on this online mode.

It could potentially be the greatest thing in the world. Right now? it is not even decent.

Are you playing by yourself? Or in a gang?

Probably the best announcement (outside of The Last of Us Remaster, and Master Chief Collection) out of E3 so far for me. Already beat GTA V on 360, but I was always waiting for it to hit PC and next gen consoles at some point, so I could experience the game in its true form.

Really interested in seeing how this version performs across the three platforms (I have every system as well as a beefy PC). Considering how awesome Max Payne 3 turned out on PC, I'm definitely leaning towards playing it there.

Rockstar makes amazing trailers. Really well made.

Yeah, when it first started during the event I was still wondering what it was with the opening wildlife stuff. Once I saw the train roll in I instantly got a huge smile on my face. "I know what this is, holy shit!!"

So good. Can't wait.

Almost getting tears thinking about what people will do with beefy mods for this game. Need money for a new pc ;_;

I don't care if nobody believes me when I say this but those two clips impressed me the most of anything I've seen out of E3 2014 so far.

That's just fucking gorgeous with the traffic density.

I'd be fine with native 1080p and framerate absolutely locked at 30 FPS on PS4.

I'm trying to imagine what those stretches of 8 lane freeways that run past downtown are gonna look like!

I loved driving them on the PS3 version but the amount of traffic just felt off for such big roads.

I get the feeling that Rockstar is going to go silent about the details of exactly how it is improved over the 360/PS3 versions until a month before release. Very interested in learning about how close PS4 and Xbox One versions perform, but not expecting to learn that for a while.

Didn't buy this game on last-gen in the hope that it would be released shortly after for current-gen. Not much longer left to wait :D

Yeah this trailer is really really dark in a bad way.
Could be just odd ToD or color correction to make the trailer look more dramatic.

It seems a bit of a missed opportunity if this isn't 60fps. The main problem people seemed to have with the last gen version was the framerate although i suppose if they lock it at 30fps then that would be a big step up.

honestly this is way more compelling to me than a TLOU remake, i'm excited as hell, will definitely double dip

Well that's the only problem with Rockstar's games, they push the boundaries so much that their framerates can't hold up.

Even for next gen that is a crazy looking amount of vehicles, and with the graphics improvements I wonder if they will finally get a locked framerate on consoles. I hope so.

Should have thrown fire at MS and announced GTA Collection with all the PS2 games with their PC level graphics, some extra textures(like the Xbox double pack had) and proper fucking controller support as well as GTA V. and GTA IV with console Icehance mod built in(a man can dream)
