E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

Guys, that robot making combat thing game, how's it called? Does it have a release date or anything? I only saw the final bit of the demo and it looked pretty cool.

Nintendo's twitch steam is dominating E3 coverage on the internet. I bet we will see the same sort of strategy from Sony and Microsoft next year. They have gotten me excited about all of their offerings.

Yeah, Nintendo's been trending all day. Would be nice to get these developer walkthroughs for games from other developers, as well.

Project Giant. They said it's a prototype they are thinking of folding into Starfox, so at the earliest next fall probably.

Yep, I have to say I am very, very impressed. The converge is in depth and entertaining. All the hosts seem to have a personality and genuinely excited as well which helps.

I might be late on this convo, but I don't hate Audrey at all. I just find it frustrating that she talks over the other two girls (and other presenters in general so far). I think she only does that because she's treating it as a regular conversation though. As a listener, I want to hear people speaking uninterrupted.

Audrey def loves the games she's playing though, so she's a-okay in my book. Sam and Allie are just super cool because they're snarky.

LOL

Sorry I only saw this now.

Alright so I'm back. Anything else important happen during Splatoon? Any more levels?

Cat is top secret

No new levels were shown, but there are apparently 4 levels right now and the devs want to make a lot more. The devs say they want to experiment with levels that are very vertical because of the swimming up walls mechanic.

The devs say they're planning on having different weapons to select from at the start of the match that players can choose from depending on their play style and the map they're playing.

Man I ... really can't understand why monster hunter is liked by anyone, let alone a gaming phenomenon.

I keep trying though.

You seriously need to play it for about 25-30 hours before it starts to click. A look on a stream or even a quick demo isn't enough.

Oh nice. Thanks for the summary.

That super ultra hyper ... plus alpha joke seems to be quite well-liked among Capcom staff. I wonder what this ought to tell us.

I really love these streams. Nintendo Treehouse @ E3 is like the most I've felt I was actually at E3 while just being at my house in New Zealand watching on the net ever.

Really feel like I'm seeing and learning so much more about the games than reports and stuff from 'others who saw it at the show' ever did.

Is it? All I know is GAF. Can you demonstrate this?

I just thought it was called Ultimate because its the 'enhanced' second release from the Japanese original that they're bringing over here?

That's exactly why they did it. They might have chosen a different word starting with U, but after the success of MH3U, I think they want to make it very clear to people that started with MH3U that there won't be an Ultimate edition releasing later on.

Monster Hunters can look a bit boring, but it's incredible when you actually play it. Lots of strategies are involved when taking down a monster.

Watching the Treehouse coverage along with reading this thread has been the highlight of E3 for me.
Highlight of every E3 for me.

I get to talk to my peeps, and see literally the most in-depth demonstrations of the games on display. With some truly awesome personalities from Treehouse.

Seriously whoever came up with this needs a promotion, and everyone there needs a raise, I've never had this much fun during E3.

I need MH4U now!
... of course I haven't even done the High Rank quests in MH3U... yet!
47 hours of prologue (LR Village)... I freaking love this game.
