About micro transactions... Are the confirmed? As far as I was aware, there would just be loads of DLC, and a sequel every two years for the next 10 years.

My main concern is longevity. I understand that there will be raids and more PVP content. But it would appear that the level cap is 20. All the high level PVP loot in The Tower is lv20. Do you think this will be the max level until the sequel, until DLC adds more levels? And if so, once you have the raids down, does the longevity come from the multiplayer?

I'm also wondering what the DLC will be... Just MP maps? Increase Lv cap, gear, raids, strikes, story missions, customisation? What do people think?

Ugh, even then I don't like it. Part of the fun in MMO type games is showing off your gear to other players, now everyone will just be running around with the same "epic" looking gear.

Awesome idea. After Transistor, this should be how all companion computers should communicate with the player. At least make it an option like in Transistor. PEACE.

Oh yes, I was talking with some Gaffers the other night about it.
Pay $$ for:

• More character slots
• More ammo packs
• More inventory space
• More voices
• More skins
• More guns
• More armors
• More sparrows
• Character stat transfers so you don't have to restart each time
• Loot chests
• Change character appearance
• More hairstyles or other crap for the character
• Currency

They could potentially destroy this entire game.

Most games with custom characters need this surprisingly Destiny has a great selection for female characters at least.
Most have 1 or maybe 2 good styles to choose from I had trouble picking from Destiny's selection.

Even if it is slots and character items, I would much prefer to have EVERYTHING available to me free of charge (or all included inside of a DLC expansion like the big one they're planning to do every year in between games).

Are we going to be able to trade equipment with other players? Dismantling doesn't generate enough glimmer to suit my tastes, and there aren't enough inventory slots to just lug around useless stuff. I'd like the option of trading rare items for glimmer or basically anything in a person's inventory. PEACE.

It is using a post-process AA solution that does a pretty good job (of blurring everything slightly as well as getting rid of the jaggies), but it is definitely 1080p.

The lighting, chromatic aberration, stylized textures/ art style, and PPAA all go hand in hand in making the game look soft. I think it looks pretty good.

They are level ??, not 99. And it is a classic way of representing that they are far too high a level for you. In actual fact, they are Lv 20. I have a sniper rifle that can do >1000 damage to some enemies. To a level ?? Fallen Dreg, it is a 2 DMG headshot.

I just like the fact that you can still access these areas. I went into a Hive den and encountered a few Lv ?? hive including a wizard. High-tailed it out of there.

Have you spent a decent amount of time with the game? He sounds completely uninterested. Almost to the point where it is blatantly obvious. Makes me wonder how Bungie decided that his performance was OK.

There are lockers in the hub world where you can store weapons, armor, materials. This locker is universal to all your characters.

Make mules?

I've reached level 8 today, did the Strike and did pretty much every mission I could find while exploring, I have very powerful weapons and gear for my level and yet I still absolutely suck at PVP.

No. I was just in a game when I encountered a random while trying to download some data. We paired up and started exploring the room, when we ran into some creatures that looked like thicker fallen. I didn't see their level, because I started off with the 75 attack rifle I had. That did literally no damage. I switched to the heavy machine gun and I saw a bunch of 1's bouncing off while their meters didn't budge a hair. I laughed and ran. The random I was with got the idea before me, and the two of us booked it out of there quick. LOL. This game, man.... I'm still just exploring the cosmodrome too.

I'm telling all my friends to buy this so we can have some crazy hunts. Mad respect knuckles for Bungie. PEACE.

Yeah, I think some of the vistas are great! I really think they've done a great job. Graphically, I think its a gorgeous game. I love the colour palette too. Nice variety. Also enjoying the day/night cycle and occasional snow.

There are a few areas where the Hive fight the Fallen, its excellent. But it is scripted. They respawn and resume the fight. That isn't a slur by any means, it's still very cool.

As someone who absolutely despised the Playstation controller for FPS last gen, like I'm talking soured my responses to many games because of how rotten it was, I am currently doing fine and liking the DS4 with this game so far.

Maybe you're right, I don't really use my PS4 much. But it feels so so so clunky and awkward trying to use this pad. Very unnatural.

I've been playing on PS platforms for a while, so I can handle FPS's fine even with the DualShock 3, despite being introduced to the genre and gaming itself on PC/Mouse & Keyboard. The only thing that I ever feel holds me back is how the dev handles stick sensitivity.

Yeah I get what they're going for, it just isn't working out well. Kevin in Moon was fantastic.

Perhaps it doesnt need to come to that, and better direction would fix the problem. He really isn't sounding good in this. Either way I hope they do something about it.

There is only 1 story mission. If you explore, there are many green flashing beacons that will give you smaller fetch/kill/farm/explore quests to do. Or just have a wander round, there's loads to see and do. Try looking in obscure places, high up for treasure chests. They are silver with green lights on similar to borderlands.

Played for 2 hours straight. never got uncomfortable at all, i have quite large hands though. If anything my xbox one controller gives me aches after lengthy sessions.


This game man. Its fucking amazing. When does the Alpha end. Got half way through level 7 in that time.

Sniper rifles are awesome.
