Destiny 2 Edge of Fate Pre-orders Are Down Nearly 50% From The Final Shape.

I believe that's what they are doing, they have to keep destiny relevant so life line support is where they are at. Regardless of marathon's success (which I still believe it can be in its own space) and branch it into Bungie's pvp game. I think they with probably some other studio help get to do Destiny 3 either way. Make Marathon for PvE and PVP mix and Destiny 3 just mainly PVE branch would help maintain focus within each realm. Destiny's scale in current form wears too many hats for the model it is is in. But the universe has too much potential to just die in my opinion, at least without giving it at least one more fair shot. But we are talking about Bungie, who seemingly remains talented in equal measures in its highs and lows as a company.
This is sure optimistic. I think Marathon dies pretty quick.

Well you'd be wrong then.
No, I'm not.

That website can't access to the player data of the entire userbase. It can only access to very limited played info via the Bungie API of a few players that may use their tracker, and that API doesn't provide any info related to who preordered stuff.

I'm really looking forward to Marathon, I love its art style and i am hoping the delay improves on it.
I'd love them to take it back to the original trailer art and I'm hoping for the story to keep me engaged.
