saying goodbye to the alpha. looking forward to the beta. i've exhausted about everything i can do, all the weapons and armor i've been coming across now are lvl 9 and up.
^that gun doesn't look like much, but it packs a punch. forget having a shotgun.

Been playing it all weekend, at first i wasn't sure i'd not cancel my pre-order, but getting my hunter to level 8, doing the devil's lair strike, then taking out a devil walker mano to mano (with lots of cover and ammo scraping) I'm really gutted it's over...
Can't wait for the beta, and happily NOT cancelling my pre-order...

Just beat the walker with a couple of dudes who I think were buddies, I was the scrubby odd one out, lulz. So much fun though. Afterwards we tea bagged the fuck out of that thing, haha.
Game is fun, looking forward to final release. I have no doubts that A LOT of the game we no absolutely nothing about, and I love it.

I think I've got all the gaming in today that I can so I will say farewell destiny until July.
One parting thought: i wish there were more controller scheme options. Specifically I'd like to be able to map melee to B (can remember if this is circle or square on the play station controller) and crouch the click on the right stick while keeping the shoulders and triggers how they are. More like halo buttons basically.

There are quite a few people (maybe 20+) at The Tower right now. Easily the most people I've seen since starting the alpha.

Where should we be at for whatever they have planned for 6 PST?
Yeah, I don't mind helping and leaving it on in the background during GOT, but i'd rather not waste time time waiting for nothing.

Likely because they are getting on early before the public event occurs at 6pm PST/9pm EST.
Probably a good idea to get on at least an hour to half hour before those times.

At least it's only one! It does get annoying when going from Tower to Explore to Tower etc.

We don't know if itemization changed as well in the full game. For all we know we could be playing with relatively crap gear compared to what the game launches with.

centipede's a really weird one. Or at least for some of us. I've seen a few people claim to have it but then be able to get in again. That said, a "connection error" that seems linked specifically to an account is odd. Any other account on my PS4 can get in and play just fine, but not my primary x.x and it hit out of nowhere yesterday. Also, I dunno if it's related at all, but when I access the alpha site, it fails to load my characters and errors when I head to the grimoire etc. However, I can view other peoples' profiles and apparently they can view mine no problem x.x
But this is what alpha's for, and better to catch it sooner than later. Had great fun when I was able to play properly and looking forward to the beta and launch.
Edit: I wonder if the alpha site problems are indeed connected and there's something wrong with my character/save data. Could be that it just doesn't know how to handle it and is giving a connection error in response? If it is related to character data then it definitely needs to be looked at haha.

This game...so day 1. Its like some of the best parts and lore style of Halo, Mass Effect, and Phantasy Star Online all rolled into one.
Really hope you guys at Bungie implement a no helmet display option though. No good to have such customized characters, yet only able to see faces in town.

Dang too bad Ill be asleep for that final hurrah. I loved playing games with other gaffers and wrecking in multiplayer matches. I can't wait to play the beta for sure. In how many hours is the final mission?

Yeah it can be bad at times, some areas load faster than others. What bugs me is that we get to watch our ship during the loading process.. but we never really see where the ship is going until the very end. If that make sense? Sure anything is better than a loading screen, but what's the point if you can't actually see some sort of progress as to where you're going?
