Game press just aren't as interesting in terms of the stories they can tell.

Day 1 was better and day 3 was probably the best, but I still think day 2 was pretty good. Especially the first segment. I wouldn't skip it.

I liked Day Two a lot, but I'm a fan of game press bullshit. Also, Hoffman's ambiguous Gametrailers plug makes a lot more sense in retrospect. :(

I still thought it was really entertaining, but I would agree that day 2 was probably the weakest of the 3 just because it was very heavy on journalist and I'm a lot less interested in what the journalists have to say vs developers and other industry folk you don't hear from often.
 
How do Brad and Patrick feel about new hire man having a verified twitter account while they sit on the sidelines?
 
Gonna reiterate everyone else and say great job with the OP. We should probably update the list of videos that new subscribers should check out though.

It's basically Borderlands with a (almost) seamless drop-in/out multiplayer so you don't have to bother find groups.

Jeff was always going to like it the moment he played it.

I love Boarderlands, there needs to be more loot based and grind-y FPS's. Got a white PS4 on pre-order.

But, make no mistake, I'm still salty as fuck it isn't on PC.

Just watched e2 day2 and was so damn suprised to see Thomas. The guy has been in finnish game industry for ages.
 
Do you all think GB will do something crazy to announce their new hire or keep it low key? At the rate they've been messing with people, i wouldn't be surprised if they had a live stream and blurred out the hire's face and modulated their voice.

I expect nothing less than a boring live stream with Jeff and Brad, only for music to start playing and a smoke machine starting up. After some feigned surprised, Dan comes crashing through a fake wall behind them like the fucking KoolAid man. Luchador mask optional.

My hope is to just have Dan just randomly appear. No one really addresses that he's the new hire and pretend he's been there the whole time.

It'll just be an entire day of Dan content: quicklooks, mailbag, endurance run, upf, etc with no one else present. The next day he is gone never to be mentioned again.
