Lebron James' NBA Finals record is now 2-3, fails to 3-peat this year

People should be celebrating the Spurs not talking about the scrub Heat and how Lebron has no help because he was good for one quarter a game.

Major congrats to the Spurs fans, and Ill bet they wish the bolded would happen but it won't. There were a lot of bandwagon Spurs fans that were really only interested in seeing the Heat lose. So its natural that after it happens they talk more about Lebron than they do the Spurs.

I mean damn, Timmy Manu and Duncan have been doing this shit forever, they beat a great team in a rematch after losing the title, and this thread about Lebron goes up after the game instead of a "Congrats to the Spurs" thread.

Sports, sports has changed.

It's the media and news cycle these days. The negative story is an easier sell.

Kobe wouldnt have skulked on the bench like Lebron. He wouldve jacked up a shot every trip down the floor, but at least he wouldve gone down with a scowl and a fuck you, not a whimper on the bench.

He skulked and whimpered? On the camera shot, he had his head in his hand, rubbing his forehead. Like alot of us do when frustrated at work. Did Spo take him out?

Man, some of you guys, with Bron, haha. Kobe jacking up every shot and fuck my teammates is his form of whimpering and skulking.

Spurs were too damn good. Go Clippers

Never understood the hate for Lebron

Hope he goes back to cleveland now

Kyrie, Love, and Lebron for a few years, redeem himself in Cleveland, there's no way that would have happened if they won

With a classic 6/24 performance

I'd take that over Lebron's vanishing act in the second half of an elimination game. A forced shot from him is better than what his teammates were burping up, Wade especially. None of his teammates were doing anything. James should have been gunning every trip down the floor or forcing the issue with a drive or post up.

What are you talking about? The Minneapolis Lakers only had Mikan, Mikkelsen and Martin/Pollard. The 1960's Celtics only had Russell, Sam Jones, Cousy, Havlicek, Heinsohn, Ramsey, Sharman... The 1967 Sixers only had Wilt, Cunningham, Greer, Chet Walker. The 1970's Lakers only had Wilt, West, Baylor and Goodrich. 1970's Bucks had Kareem, Oscar, Dandridge. The 1980's Lakers only had Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Cooper/Scott/Green. The 1980's Celtics only had Bird, McHale, Parish. The 1983 Sixers only had Erving, Malone, Jones, Cheeks, Toney. The 2008 Celtics only had KG, Allen, Pierce, Rondo. 2000/2010's Spurs only had Duncan, Robinson, Manu, Parker, Leonard, Jackie Butler.

None of those lineups can compare to LeBron, Wade, Bosh and Chalmers!

I love how you put Robinson and Leonard together when they were never on the same team and then include role players like cooper Scott and green but fail to include guys like mike miller and Ray Allen on the heat. Hell why don't you include shaq, Alonzo mourning, and Gary Payton on the heat too since they won in 2006. lol

But LBJ tried to play the team game. It didnt work. MIA scored what, 10 points in the third quarter? He should have been a ball hog, did you see Wade out there? Bosh?

The TEAM lost. Not just Bron. Did you not see the Spurs playing great D out there? Was is going out ball hogging the way to go? I don't get it. Bosh should went out ball hogging then.

I hate this unfounded sentiment. He shoots as much as anyone else considered a "scorer" cause last time I checked you can't be considered a scorer if you don't shoot the damn ball.

Point blank- Selfish players don't win championships. It's as simple as that.

Why is Lebron looked down on if he doesn't act like Kobe does?

I hate that sentiment. Or find it funny.

I'm responding to the notion that Bron went out in a bad way because he didn't go out like Kobe would (supposedly), playing the team ball.

Spurs won playing team ball.

Still the best player of this era and he still will win many more rings when we retool. But he will never be Jordan, no one will ever be Jordan. Jordan is the greatest of all time, someone like that happens once a century.

Cooper was winning DPOY's, Scott stepped up as the third scorer on the Lakers in the last days, Green was a great forward despite his never ending hiccups. I was just plucking random star players to point out just how fucking stacked every great team has been. And none of them were rolling out guys 35+ plucked from the ash-heap and recast in new roles just to maintain a stable lineup except the 2008 Celtics. Most of these older "superteams" (aka championship teams) were stacked with guys in their primes.

The idea that the Heat were some strange superteam construction which has never happened before is ahistorical. The only difference with Miami was that they cleared out cap space and signed free agents instead of pulling off swindles of trades and/or stacking through the draft.

i'm more interested in how they retool. They need so much help in so many areas. And with the old roster getting older (and harder to trade)...idunno. After that display, would YOU want any of those players in a trade? That roster is James, Wade, Bosh, Allen...and 9 cups of asshole juice.

I don't look down on Lebron...at all. He isn't the same type of player as Kobe. The people who do look down on him are crazy too. Dude does as much as you can possibly do to win....but Bball is a team sport.

I just hate when people act like Kobe isn't a team player. You don't go to 7 finals and win 5 by saying "fuck your teammates."

It's not true....it never has been true and it never will be true. Jordan didn't win on his own. He had some of the greatest help you could possibly get all six rings. Especially having Phil every step of the way.

Not only that but greats like MJ, Gretzky, Ruth, Montana, etc. were born at the right place, right time.

You can try as hard as you want to be the greatest, but sometimes it's not in the cards so to speak.

It's a crapshoot IMO.

This week talk radio will be filled with asses who've never lifted more than a TV remote gloating over a top ten all time player with two rings. This is the world we live in.

Let's face it, without David Stern, as NBA commissioner, to rig the games in LeBron's favor, he is finished.

He'll never win a championship again.

i mean, the irrational lebron hate gets kinda dumb, but this is like a whole new level

poor bron bron

give him the decision part 2 where he can put together a few more ring chasers and get back to .500 in the finals

yeah the decision was awful, especially the $ going to charity part, ugh

Don't EVER compare Lebron to Michael Jordan.

Lebron has been proven to be a FRAUD again. PEACE.

which western team have cap room for him?

Silver and the NBA big wigs would NEVER let him leave the LEastern conference. That would transform it from the laughing stock of the league into a cesspool. It would be a worse wasteland than Detroit.

LBJ posting up every trip down the floor would have given them more offensive production than the garbage Wade and Bosh were putting up. Statistically, Lebron's post ups end up with fouls drawn on the defender or points scored. He should have been demanding the ball on the block or taken it there himself.
Dont tell me he couldnt have done that, he had Tony Parker on him for one possession and instead of abusing Parker immediately, he passed to a teammate.

The heat just werent equipped to handle that Spurs realness. Its time to change it up or get wade some robot knees.

People loooooove to bring up his stats. Love it.

Well, how's this for stats:

Kobe 5-7

Pippen 6-6

LeCramp 2-5

G.O.A.T. ??? lol my high yellow ass.
