I don't necessarily agree with his decision, but he's making good money and was given the chance to be a focal point at a team and continue to develop as a playmaker prior to the World Cup so there were some positives to it. I bet he'll only stay in MLS for another season at most as I'm sure he had plenty of offers in Europe.
