After the rock band purge I remember Costanza and a few others created a GAF-spin off forum which I believe is basically dead at this point. Never really took off. Don't even remember the name.

I still talked to him on occasion. I haven't been able to since I haven't had use of a ps4 in some time. We talked right after the launch. I remember him working at a bank in Canada but I'm not sure if that's current.

The mere concept of a GAF splinter forum is bizarre enough to me. I feel a bit sheepish about posting on an internet video game forum in the first place; I can't imagine how I'd explain to people that I post on an internet forum for people who were rejected from an internet video game forum.

Absolutely. I don't like much of it either; you'll note that I'm still around and managed to be a moderator, of all things. Different perspectives are not necessarily shunned here.
It would also help if he seemed to have other things he actually praised instead. A lot of gamers who are disenchanted with AAA development can turn around and say "this is what I like instead, and here is why," which makes the position far more tenable.
By contrast, one could count on Derrick to automatically nay say any AAA development, without necessarily providing explanation or analysis.

Most of the Orbis/Durango leakers have been banned, except for Thuway and CBOAT. I don't remember usernames that well, since I typically remember people's avatars. Shinobi is gone, Reiko (I think that's how it's spelled) is gone. It was a lot of fun watching the leaks unfold.
