I guess the posters I miss the most, besides some of the ones mentioned here, are people I've seen around Nintendo related threads - ilikefeet / From The Dust (both accounts perma'd), AceBandage (perma'd), gravijah, Boney, Firestorm, and Up And Away (don't know what happened to the last four).
I believe it has something to do with her giving away moderator information to banned members in a NeoGAF spinoff forum, the 3rd and most recent one (i.e. the Rock Band crowd). EviLore posted about it once.
What I think is interesting about your point and the NeoGAF spinoffs over the years is... well, each spinoff essentially captured the state of NeoGAF at the time. The earliest spinoff is very loosely moderated and IMO fairly close to 4chan in many ways. Later spinoffs gravitated away from that and are more like NeoGAF as it is today. None of them are anything like the real thing, though.
He had is name changed to sprsk a while back. I'm not sure, but I think he works for 8-4 (the translation team). He's generally seen in the 8-4 podcast threads.

Was this guy notorious? He's not only permabanned, but he has a custom tag while being perma'd, too. I'd imagine someone would have needed to gain quite a bit of notoriety for that to happen...

He was a personal friend of mine. We used to hang out every now and then. After his permaban, he disappeared. His phone number changed and I couldn't find any way of contacting him and I can't remember where he lived. I don't know if he still lives in this city or not and I'm a bit concerned because he seems to have wiped out his Alien: Interactive Game website and most if not all traces of his Internet presence. When I last went to his Alien website, all it said was "I'm done" or something to that effect, which is why I'm concerned. However, he never really seemed depressed or anything when I knew him.

I remember that guy who would use E-Mail tags to leave creepy messages in all his posts that would normally be unseen. Mods caught wind of it and tagged him, but he kept doing it and they implemented scripts change his posts, post titles, and edit summaries in all his posts to "We warned you." or something like that for a while. Shit was both hilarious and creepy at the same time.
