What happened to CBOAT?

I remember people said he was supposedly accurate with a lot of his posts. Did he finally post something that was completely inaccurate/false or did he step over some line?

Scarlet gave private information about a member to Costanza, which Costanza then used to try to manipulate that member (by pretending to have full access to mod information, and using that one piece of info as proof). This member knew Kagari and when she found out about it and investigated it got back to me, and Scarlet allegedly called her a snitch for telling me (that bit is second hand though since I wasn't present). Regardless, I removed her for providing Costanza with private information about a GAF member.

There was one poster, he was English and became notorious for random diatribes against women due to his frustration at being a virgin. He had a tag for a post on the Gaming side where he analyzed the foliage and water effects of the first Uncharted. Who am I thinking of?

Sounds very familiar. Can't put my finger on it.

The Uncharted foliage thread was also intensely debated on the base of his thorough analysis.

I think the username was Sentry? I might be wrong.

No, Sentry is the guy who made all the Face GAF avatars. I think he lives in Syria.

Stump has once mentioned that there are people who have been perm'd in the past who are using secondary accounts now and haven't been banned for it. The main reason is that they've simply become better posters so there's no real need to re-ban them. Other people who have been perm'd have had their ban lifted (like HUELEN10, who posts in SonicGAF!), because sometimes it's just been a while.

Clearly I'm no mod, so I can't tell you the inner process of who gets unbanned and why, but there seems to be one constant: don't act like a jackass, and you'll be fine.

I don't think it was him either. Though to be honest I'm not 100% positive the post was about Uncharted. This guy must have spent more of his time in OT since I hardly ever go to the Gaming side. I think he ended up dating a girl poster here, too.

Very few people like him are not fueled by hate and or ignorance. You can look for his post-neogaf career where he showed a bit of his true character vs. the veil of reason he pulled here.

Yeah got confused. Notorious GAF member doing a thread on the original Uncharted and I guess I just assumed it was that one.

CBOAT is still active but posts less frequently. Mainly if there's any insider knowledge he believes is worth sharing.

I think the moderators have verified his reliability.

CBOAT was (temporarily) banned for doubling down on Titanfall alpha textures being final, or something to that nature.

It turns out he was off by like 72p or whatever, hence his 3-day ban.

Now that I think about it, it's kinda crazy that I've seen pretty much all the 'big' name bans happen in real time, or at least within a day or so.
