USA-Ghana yesterday on ESPN scored higher than Game 5 of the NBA finals which was broadcasted on a Sunday night, during primetime and on network tv. And this is not counting WatchESPN and Univision numbers!
And yes ABC still refrains from broadcasting next Sunday's 6pm EST USA vs Portugal game. I don't get it.

It seems we are going to play a 4-3-3 tomorrow again againstr Australia. Probably Lens on LW.
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen will present the World Cup to the winners in Brazil, according to reports.
The Boston Globe claim the 33-year-old will replace Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff, who has been criticised for spending public money on hosting the tournament.
Hispanics are watching the World Cup on Univision, not ESPN. And those numbers are ESPN only.
Also: viewers are viewers!
African teams pissing me off man, we have no hope.
Hispanics mostly....I doubt it was just pure caucasian watching it trust me on this....
I hate to say it, but Africa probably deserves one or two less World Cup slots.
Fifa rewarded Africa after Cameroon reached the quarterfinals in 1990 and Nigeria performed well in 1994 & 1998. But since then only two African teams have reached the quarterfinals. None have reached the semi-finals (fuck you Suarez). And Africa consistently has a majority of their contingent scrub out in the first round every cup, including hosts South Africa which was a first that even Japan and S. Korea managed to avoid.
It's a shame because there's just so much talent in the African nations. But the corruption and disorganization of the federations of there have really stunted the growth of International success in major tournaments.
Maybe if they lose 1-2 WC slots, the African federations will be forced to get their act together. Right now, it's just painful seeing such a waste of talent, year after year.
Awful picture of Gisele....look dem bony ass hips...
Are any Americans cheering for Mexico? And if so, why? I'm sure as hell not.
Some but not all.Uh... who really cares? And besides, wouldn't most Hispanics be watching on Univision anyway?
Are any Americans cheering for Mexico? And if so, why? I'm sure as hell not.
Probably a lot of them...there is a non-negligible amount of Americans of Mexican descent...

Scolari is a bastard for not starting Fernandinho this game. He deserves a shot after the underwhelming performances by Paulinho and Luis Gustavo last game.
I'm rooting for Mexico because my wife would murder me if I didn't.
To the Brazilians watching Globo... What the hell was that Boneco de Olinda of David Luiz?!
I will have nightmares with that monstrosity tonight.
This should be a close game.
Brazil 2-1 Mexico is my guess.
Fair enough. I was rooting for Ghana last night(Still love you US people, just no your football team :3)
