Spain lost and Chile didn't even played all that great, they had good defense and applied pressure everywhere but they couldn't pass for shit, even their GK kick out the ball so randomly. It's baffling to see the previous world champs losing to this team but I totally enjoyed the Spanish meltdown haha.

It was certainly on the news over here, despite that fact that I'd naturally gravitate towards news that occurs in Spain in particular, it was fairly big and ongoing for days for various reasons.
Either way it's over and done with, next time if anyone wants to post a gif of what appears to be a tragedy such as a crash because they think it's from a movie, google it first. It was in incredibly poor taste.
