Fell asleep after the second Chile goal. Missed the death of tiki taka but GAF was down and there were no goals afterward so I didn't miss much.
Australia totally have their best chance to best Spain now. They'll be demoralised and not willing to push as the result means nothing to them. We deserve at least a point out of this tournament. Guess we'll be the ones to witness the funeral of Spain's domination haha.
Also missed the first two goals in this game here but it doesn't look like I missed much. Cameroon have been absolutely bodied here. Certainly makes Group A interesting though.

At least their getting the job done. Cameroon is performing like a donkey out there, Nigeria could not score against a lousy defence and Ghana will need a miracle to beat Germany. The only other CAF team that could make it to the last 16 is Algeria and that means a victory against Russia and Korea.

Mexico was the fourth placed CONCACAF team and they beat New Zealand 9-3 on aggregate.
Blind was horrendous today. No influence and really awkward in defense and fouling left and right to make up for it.

This is basically the same team that tied against Jamaica and Costa Rica and lost against Honduras home, so yes, Mexico can fall apart just as shamefully.

Not really, Cameroon are garbage out there. All it indicates is that Brazil has a easy warm-up match before Chile/Holland.

So do you guys think Tiki Taka is officially dead? Or the players are just too old and it's still a viable strategy? I think the whole thing really hinged on Xavi+Iniesta playing perfectly, but also Puyol holding the defense together. I mean they won almost every game last WC 1-0, they have never been a scoring juggernaut. Seems like it was a really fine line between being best in the world and getting blown out by their peers.

Brad was terrible in the Ecuador friendly. In the same game which Ryan started and did ok. Langerak was subbed on in that same game, gave away a penalty and got sent off with a karate kick.
