PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | June 2014

Guys!! guys!!!!!!! Vita is finally getting all the press!

Whoops! Top of Page: Even for 100pp people! Buy HSG! Is really cheap and full of content with crossplay with ps3 so less chances of online dying out.

I hope no one that owns a Vita is foolish enough to buy Project Morpheus. PlayStation's history is littered with the corpses of unsupported non-main platforms like Eyetoy, Move, 3D, PlayStation Mobile, and of course, Vita.

Amen! Better to invest in Oculus Rift! Atleast games can be patched to support it by modders.

What're the chances the next Jimquisition episode will be regarding the recent Vita debacle?
It'll be another Ubisoft criticism video :V No offense intended Jim

Last week I didn't know who this guy was but now I love him. Really like this and the Phil Spencer interview.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Sony doesn't have my trust when it comes to supporting their stuff (outside their homeconsoles, which is their core business). If Morpheus doesn't has a great start they can just throw it to the rubish can alongside the stuff you've mentioned.

Wonderbook!

Lol. I actually feel bad for those baddies :(

That one wonderbook segment was longer than the amount of time the vita got at the last three E3 conferences. Combined.

As if that was hard to beat.

If the Morpheus gets Vita level support I'm in on day 1.

Vita destroys everything else out there right now in terms of quality (no thanks to Sony).

Indies will be there if that's what you mean. They'll probably release their games for both the Occulus Rift and Morpheus to have a higher installbase and low risk.

Let's not forget PSP Go.

Seriously though, outside of their home consoles, Sony has commitment issues.

Now, I don't actually think that Sony's own games will make a huge difference to the vita. But a platform holder should support its own platform. Period.

even the usually calm and rationale bobby is annoyed w Sony over its commitment to the Vita

it's not #WinterIsComing, #WinterIsHere for Vita

All those platforms got more than enough support for my enjoyment, but yeah, if you're expecting Sony to turn Morpheus into its main business like some were with Vita, might as well not get it.

Wasn't it hinted by Atlus that they'll bring Lost dimensions over?

The last thread had someone figuring out the hint was based off a character in the game and the tagline for the game.

I honestly don't care that Sony have dropped their own support. Most of the best games on the platform aren't even theirs. Much like the PSP. It was still moronic of them to admit it though. And I definitely see why you wouldn't want to buy any more Sony offshoots with their spotty record. But the Vita is still one of the best handhelds ever, and the games are still coming. So long as those two statements are true, the Vita isn't dead yet.

If Gravity Rush 2 gets canned then I'll join the rioting.

You'll be able to play Gravity Daze 2 on Vita
by Remote Play

No, it was a tease for one of their PS2 Classic releases.

Eh, it'd probably play better on PS4 anyway.

*dons troll mask, drives off*

I too own a Vita, for the record, and its eventual fate (if left to Sony's devices) is both baffling and frustrating. I'd like for all the machines to do well, but considering Sony's track record, I just can't see Vita surviving to the end of next year. It's a crying shame too, the Vita has so much untapped potential still.
