This is so true local players aren't given playing time to develop and if any seems to have talent the price tags on them are insane so clubs end up buying foreign talent for much cheaper

Midfield is terrible, if our defense is supposedly the weakest part of the team then you don't invite pressure with awful passing, we have Gerrard and Henderson playing deeper roles and yet they don't appear to be offering anything, they're too far back to be attacking (partly because Rooney isn't doing anything) and they're not offering much protection for the defense either.
