shortened version of this: You shouldn't reward a guy in "Arbitrary Greatness Rating" for not playing. Yet, people do that with Bo Jackson.

I would also argue that Bo actually benefited by coming in late in the season, and playing defenses and teams that had six or seven games wear and tear on them.

It's like subbing in another guy half way through a boxing match, and then saying how amazing it is that he performs well against a tired opponent.

Bo's 5.4 comes on 515 career attempts. Barry Sanders 5.0 average comes on over three thousand career attempts. Bo basically had a good season and a half spread over four years.

Yeah... no. Sid has been clearly the best player in hockey since Ovechkin dovetailed four or five years ago, and even when he had a rival offensively, Crosby was always the better player.

Health permitting, he's going to be top-5 with a bullet in all time scoring and is on pace to be #2 all time in total scoring.

Meh, most teams in the World Cup are under immense media pressure. The English team have consistently underperformed and considering the wages they pull, they are indeed overrated as hell. Even if you have shitty managers if you have quality players they can at least make something happen with individual talent.

I have always felt Ronaldinho and Zidane were a tad overrated. Talented players sure and amazing to watch but never were as efficient as you'd think they could have been.
