Yeah, I know. I never bought it, though because I was holding out for a PS1 classic. However, I realize that will probably never happen. Is the PSP version technically a new game or is it considered a remake of the original PS1 version?
Even the PSP version is supposed to have lag. It's the only version I own so I wouldn't know how it compares, but I heard as much on Retronauts' PaRappa episode.
Also, I'd totally be up for a new PaRappa. At this point, the thing I'm most curious about is if they'd even be able to capture the feeling of the original.

I wish Danny's headset wasn't complete shit, the audio quality is bad (or I'm just used to professional level sound out of streams).
Still, it's Danny. Of course I'm going to check it out.
I immediately got XBLIG flashbacks. Seriously doesn't look like anything worthwhile. Good choice for the devs to be on XB1 and best of luck to them, it'd be completely ignored on platforms with a better library - yes, even at that low price point.

I'm watching some of Danny's old "Random Encounters" and the Rainbow Six is seriously as funny as some of the best quicklooks.

Is there a way to filter out all the old PC game stuff Vinny and Dave did in subscriber videos? I want to marathon but the site doesn't make it easy unless I missed an option.

Games 11-20 are only suggestions by the user. For subscriber videos, I use the iOS app. If you enter "Random PC" it will give you a filtered list.
That's mentioned in the post on that page. Oh yeah, I forgot you have to filter searches on desktop. Here is that search.
I need to watch that Daggerfall one again, just for the moment where that voice starts grunting "vengeance..."

Meanwhile, I'd received a notification for Danny's stream even though I don't follow his channel. I just watched him for the first time last night.
It goes away if you click on it.
So that explains why I've been having problems with the front page recently. Now I'm going to just stay calm and ask who the fuck thought that was a good idea? Seriously I'm having trouble coming up with positive aspects to the redesign they did a year or so ago and the amount of negatives just keeps adding up.

So a typical GB user would go to the front page and see there's a shiny new video and keep clicking on it every time he went back without ever noticing the other content?
I'm seriously this close from just starting to use qlcrew.com and directly going to giantbomb.com/chat when there's a live show. That's how annoyed I'm getting with the site.

I think how it works is that once you've seen it, it cycles through the other unseen content in the top banner. That's how it works for me anyway, though it's not always consistent.
All the newest content is always shown on the front page though, so I kinda l don't see what the problem is.

Excuse me for the large size of the image but this is the first page for me right now.Notice how the ugly game QL is supposedly coming out... yesterday even though I took this screenshot a minute ago. Also I have listened to the dump truck and the podcast yet they are still show up top but the ugly game QL is gone.
I think they just need to rework the whole front page, and separate content more intelligently. The way it's currently set up has the potential to cause confusion on top of the already difficult to parse general "latest stories" feed. It makes some sense when you know how it works, but it just seems messy.

Huh, weird, I'm getting this too. Seems like their system is glitching out like it's sometimes prone to do.
Now I went back and it looks like this. The Friday Morning Show is gone (I never watched it) and an E3 video from a week ago popped all the way up top (I watched that one on another device). Still saying ugly game QL is coming yesterday but of course it's available in the videos section.

EDIT: When we originally heard they had completed the hire, Jeff said "As of 45 minutes ago we now have a Senior Editor...Well and then a month or so on top of that". So it should be a week to two weeks from now.
Most likely in one week. Rycert is moving into his new apartment in SF on the 28th, and it seems like Jason Oestreicher is moving soon too. My guess would be that Dan at least starts on monday 30th.
