Falco this week? Sounds early since E3 is not even 2 weeks ago. And we got Ike 6 weeks after the direct.
If she can't cancel it, it'll only be used extremely situationally, like after a high percentage upward throw. It'll be a dead move most of the time.

Edited: Never mind, that was other rumor. Someone posted other rumor yesterday that we are getting Falco this week as well. He also mentioned Pichu is being playable character, along with King Rool and Mewtwo.

Believe it or not, that's actually what threw me off. It'd certainly be welcome, but I'd think they'd be focusing more on Returns stages.
Of course, there could be two DK stages like in Brawl, so there's that.

The only character I'd be cool with that happening with would be the Masked Man, but it would be odd to replace the hero of a game with the villain.

Do you mean another character taking his place if he's cut, or just him getting cut? I don't think many people do want him cut, from what I've seen, but if the former, I don't think that Mother reps being reduced to 1 would be swagtastic. =(

I just want a good DK stage that isn't jungle themed. There's so much to the series than that, but so far the only one that's any different is 75m and that level...ugh.
My ideal situation would be one DK stage from the old Country series and one from the new. If it were up to me, I'd probably do a Bramble Blast stage for the retro stage and a Grassland Groove stage for the newer.

Even if Ness got Lucas's b moves for customization all of his a attacks would still be the same, would probably be cool for people who don't actually like or play Ness/Lucas but if You're a Lucas main thats the worst possible outcome. At least with dlc he could show up later but if Ness just got his b moves and costume then people who didn't like Ness and like Lucas are boned

Glad to see I wasn't the only one. From previews and early gameplay he seemed like a terrifying, ominous badass. Then he's suddenly off his meds. It was like having Golbez turn into Kefka mid-game.

DK and Metroid have the worst and less-representative stages of the respective series in Smash.
Ideally I would want Gangplank Galleon and Sunset Shore for DK stages.

This is probably the case for most characters that aren't really popular. If you have a relationship with a character from the previous smash games you definitely don't want to see them go. And I doubt there are many if any characters people actively want to get cut....

To be honest, my greatest dissapointment with Twilight Princess was that it went all "Suddenly, Ganondorf!"
Zant probably could've stood as an interesting enough baddie on his own. Him being a bit nutty just makes it more interesting

Yeah, Metroid gets the shaft, too. I like Pyrosphere fine, but I'd really like a not grey / lava themed Metroid level for once. Phendora Drifts would be sick.
Those DK stages would be great as well. I was tempted to suggest Sunset Shore, but I'm not sure all of the Smash characters would work well in the silhouette style; if they could pull it off, that would be amazing!

Is anybody else with me thinking alt costumes are definitely an unlockable thing for each character? I imagine one could be won after completing some game mode... Shadow being revealed as an AT squashes my hopes that he would be a Sonic alt costume, and well, hit boxes kinda prohibit this guy here from taking Sonic's place too I guess :/

Phendrana Drifts is exactly the place I would want in Smash as a stage. That or Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2.

"I know a guy" doesn't make it less valid to me. Pretty much every leak comes from such a relationship.
