the only thing im debating is my stance on the matter, which people seem to be confusing

if you state something a lot of times and you get responses like "lol embarrasing you're clearly just rooting for your team go back to steam thread" then I think you'd wanna clear things up

im 1vs100 in here thanks to my country being 3 million people, and im cool with it as long as I make myself clear.

You're stance is very clear.

You don't think--or rather claim you don't care--that Suarez should be banned retroactively because the game is now over. The ref should have dealt with the situation the same as any other foul that is called during a match.

The fact that people are quoting you to clarify is simply because the majority of us are laughing at you.

Salsa, just stop replying. Your position is clear to those who have been reading your posts, Uruguay earned its win, and we can all now move forward. There's another set of games starting soon, right?

LOL, England, what are you doing? How is he not out?

You want continuity with what was shown this WC? Oh boy.

Until the FA get over the 'must have an English manager' obsession they've got, Roy's the best choice really.

Not that that says much at all about his skills as a manager.

his stance is just really weird.

"yeah, of course he bit him maybe but probably not, but he wasn't sent off, so why should he get a post-match ban? it's a slippery slope [bud note: uh, it really isn't], but, ultimately, i don't care."
fixed

Suarez and Pepe are brilliant players, but the way they can easily lose their head in the heat of the moment frustrates me to no end. Oh well.

I don't care = whatever FIFA decides is fine with me cause ultimately that's what matters.

I don't want him gone, cause he's a good player, but I understand if they think this warrants a ban.

is that such a weird stance?

do I think Suarez was a needless asshole? absolutely. Do I think he should have gotten a red card (as with any other non-called play)? totes.

I'm not even sure why the Americas are trying to make this a fight between continents. It's hilarious. My continent is so much better. Go continent!

The dude doesn't equal all of us.

Secondly, CONCACAF has been looked down on for so long by the other continents. It's nice to see them do well.

Elaborate why. I dont see him deserving it.

By going ultra defensive every time there's any debate going on with Uruguay or a player from Uruguay. If we just take this match today :

Calling suspending players after a match a "slippery slope" and then after arguing his point for post after post, saying he doesn't actually really care lol.

I love how both England and Italy are using the excuse that they don't have enough good players, when Uruguay aside from Suarez and maybe a couple others have looked like crap, and that hotbed of top tier soccer talent COSTA RICA won the group (without Oviedo and Saborio)... lol

So what's the reason then?

stop cherry picking posts, specially if you're gonna pull out ones I explained after I got called out on. we're all just talking.

I don't really get Italy. Even when they had eleven men they didn't really attempt to play. I know they only needed the draw but Uruguay were bound to get a few chances in the end The Uruguay goal was inevitable. The Marchisio foul was high and deserved the red.

1000% ELEPHANTS!

Wow, Colombia wins the battle of the anthems. Japan's sounds like funeral music, Colombia's starts off like it's Mighty Mouse.
