edit - oops, someone else posted it already.

Went to a few Uruguayans news sites to read salty comments and left pretty disappointed.

They are all mad at him for throwing away his team like that, all of them blaming him, good for them.

But Liverpool (or Barcelona idk) would have to change their training place just to have Suarez, I don't see that happening. btw I would not even have this guy on my team, dude's a complete mess

They don't use the actual stadium to train. Most training happens outside the stadium where they have multiple fields for different training activity.

So today the United States and Germany both only need a tie to advance. Therefore both teams have much to risk by engaging in a game that neither needs to win. If economists ran both teams, then upon the opening whistle both teams would sit down and start playing card games or rock, paper, scissors for 90 minutes, thereby creating a mutually beneficial tie that leaves both teams well rested for the next round. But instead both teams are going to be unwise and actually play.

It's like a real life version of the prisoner's dilemma!

If Suarez lands in Barcelona well at least Messi won't get bitten by him, that's a good thing I mean Suarez doesn't bite his own team players right? right?

Not really, at least not for both parties. The US can win the first spot in the group if they want (looking at the path to the semifinals, I'd rather not want that), but Germany has nothing to gain from playing for a draw. A prisoner's dilemma would mean both parties would fall into the category that's not optimal for both.

Ghana Kicks Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng out of world cup and suspends them indefinitely because Muntari slapped a Ghana Football management committee member and Boateng insulted the Ghanian coach in training. I think these two players were instrumental in the money before we play rebellion and after Ghana flew in $3 million to the players as a player fees for players, they suspended these two for overstepping their player power

This is also not good news for US as Portugal won't go up against 2 decent players

I thought a weaker Ghanaian team benefits the US?

Technically, but if they are totally demoralized and allow Portugal to put on a like a 5-0 show, we're fucked (assuming we lose to Germany)

Do we find out starting lineups soon?

Kinda hoping we put wondo and Dempsey up top. Play for the win and first place and we have a better chance in knockouts

Also if it came down to drawing straws would they do it right after? Or wait until later in the night
