Gotta say i feel bad for everyone who will play this on last-gen. The difference is like night and day.
I don't have a PS4 yet but i sure as hell will buy one before this game comes out.

i'm debating my stance on getting tpp on ps3 after this footage. i was already kind of annoyed playing ground zeroes with a crap frame rate and muddy resolution...
Kojima has made comments in the past about possible PC versions.
We (KONAMI) has never officially announced a PC version. Officially we have announced TPP for PS3/PS4/Xbox360/XboxOne.
I think my only official response based on the trailer is actually COMING 1984.

Well i have the money and all i just don't feel like buying a PS4 yet because besides GZ nothing interests me so far. But Early 2015 i'll catch one. I'll probably buy it when The Order: 1886 comes out.
I was thinking about getting The Last of Us remastered bundle but i already finished TLoU and don't feel like re-playing it for now. If i buy a PS4 now it would collect dust and i don't want that.

i wouldn't want the Wachkowskis anywhere near MGS, are you guys stuck in a time loop in 2004 or something? other than that, some of the choices thrown out are very interesting. though i'd prefer directors with experience with more action.
here's my suggestions (along with what would probably happen)
MGS1 -- John McTiernan. Die Hard + mystery/conspiracy with wise-cracking war hardened lead. He hasn't been around for a while but I always like the parallels between MGS1 and Die Hard on a base level.
They would probably get: Michael Bay
MGS2 -- Christopher Nolan. near-future sci-fi "what is reality?" mind fuck.
They would probably get: Joseph Kosinski
MGS3 -- Quentin Tarrantino. psuedo-historical cold war espionage spaghetti western.
They would probably get: Martin Campbell
MGS4 -- Neill Blomkamp. dystopian military mind control sci-fi epic
They would probably get: Robert Orci

Yeah, it's better to wait - especially for hardware. I've had one since launch, but have spent all of my time on a ten minute MGSV demo which I could have just as easily played on PS3. But being the rushed fanboy that I am, I felt I had to get a PS4 for Ground Zeroes - not just The Phantom Pain.
