Well this is Qatar 2022 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Remember how you Euro's bitch at American sports and their 3 minutes of play then 4 minutes of ads, get ready for it!

If you're gonna have matches at 1pm at least have the decency of not playing them in the north of the country

Dumb dumb organization

I can almost justify Italy for playing like utter shit, we had to deal with these conditions in all our three matches

I don't care about the heat but the WC being in the americas why are the first games at freaking noon? This has me bothered. I get it at group stages but these round of 16 games are way too early.

Europeans can't stay up late for TV? Jeez.
Word. As a Mexican I hate this schedule. 11am games in weekdays should be a crime

This could get some use on gaf during overly heated arguments

The running clock during a cooling break is the most ridiculous thing ever. What is it with soccer and refusing to stop the clock when play is stopped like every other good sport?

Wtf? Cooling break? What's the standard? This isn't the first really hot condition of the tournament. Kind of unfair no?

Not that I'm doubting how bad the condition is but just curious to know what the standard is.

Danish commentator said that many of the people with seats in the sun, are moving to the sections in the shadow, could at least explain some of the reason that the stadium looks like the etihad.

Court ordered to take these breaks, when it's over a certain heat limit. Did it the other day as well.

Honestly, only Mexico and Chile have impressed me this WC. Everyone else looks very vulnerable.

It's never stopped. Instead, the referee just adds extra time to each half so it doesn't really matter.

Need to make the Euros happy.

Gotta accommodate for European tv schedule

Ok, that explains, I guess I have it really good here in the West hemisphere and West cost...

(Earliest match 9:00am, latest 3:00PM) I haven't missed watching one match so far :)

Thanks for the delicious gifs fellas

This match will need at least three more water breaks, praise the good ol' Merica for suggesting water break.

I'm kidding, I have no idea who suggested this, but they did good.

Above 35 C, I believe. Temperature measured before kick-off.

Mid-90s is not the end of the world. Lots of American sports teams (especially down south) play in that kind of heat with high humidity. It's hot, but the players aren't going to melt.

120s, on the other hand, is a bigger problem and Qatar should have never gotten the Cup.
