As a Netherlands fan I am obviously bias and everyone knows what a diver Robben is - but that was a pen. Rafa was stupid to stick his boot out; the same thing happened two other times during the game - Robben went down once and not the other. That is 3 times Rafa was careless in and around the box.

Anyway, Robben could've dived after the first lunge by a Mexican defender but he didn't.

Netherlands definitely deserved at least extra time. The Mexicans struggled after 70 minutes and invited more and more pressure onto themselves. The Dutch were by far the better team.

It was a penalty too btw. He overemphasised the contact but he was definitely fouled. Can't hate on Holland.

Thanks, not sure I agree though. Yeah overall Netherlands was slightly better and maybe they'd have sealed the deal anyway, but it looked like a theatrical flop when I saw it. Though the DF was stupid to come in like that.

Feel bad for Mexico, would have supported them if it wasn't for them coming up against us. Theirs is a team surprisingly devoid of whining and diving. And a really young team too. The only way is up I'd say.
