I really should finish Other M. It's crazy to think how that one game has totally soured so many people on the character Samus Aran. I didn't play too far into the story, but beyond the idiotic "needing a man to let her know it's okay to use equipment that could save her life," I didn't see anything too character destroying. So I'm curious about what all happens in the game.

Maybe Andross' nephew (Andrew?) That was in SF64. Kinda looks like that Andross relative in Star Fox Command which reused some ideas from SF2.

man was I disappointed when it wasn't for the entire game like the entire internet made it sound like it did.
They should do what they did in Melee's Adventure mode where the Arwings are attacking you on the Great Fox, but buff it up and make it Wolf's Final Smash (Wolfens ofcourse)

I like final smashes in concept but then I remember they rarely ever 'feel' fun. When you get a kill with one it almost feels unearned and when you get killed by one it feels cheap. My favorite ones are transformation final smashes by far, just because I feel like you stay in the most control and enemies actually have a chance at evading you. This is all in my opinion of course.

No. Not really. Brawl's Wolf look is a perfect combination of Star Fox 2 AND his Assault look. The PM one looks like fanboy bullshit. Also they didn't remove eyepatch, has foot prosthetic etc.

It does have elements from multiple versions of the character, but it primarily seems to be based on his Star Fox 2 look (to me, anyway). It's funny, I actually prefer this variation much more than the Brawl costume; something about it never clicked with me.
