If they do bundle MCC with the system, it'll most likely be a digital copy of the game, and I ain't about that.
You passed on the Reach 360 because it wasn't enough of an upgrade, but purchased the Halo 4 bundle because it was quieter?

Aren't they the exact same system?
Found some new info, or at least new to me (and didn't see it in the OP). Apologies if it has been discussed already here.
Nightfall is going to be like Every Street United and be streaming only with weekly episode releases, and can be watched via Xbox One or Windows 8.1.
Halo 5 beta runs from December 27, 2014 until January 22, 2015
When you say that, do you mean an episode will only be available to stream for a week, then it is replaced by the next episode?
The rest I think is more or less common knowledge.
No I mean, it sounds like they will release 1 episode a week, and what is on the disk is only a "sneak peak" and grants you access to the episodes as they release them.
edit: Source for beta dates and info on Nightfall is via a MS Expertzone course.

Really looking forward to going through all the Halo campaigns again, but as much as I try to convince myself that I'll play a ton of the remastered Halo 2 multiplayer, I know I'll end up not enjoying it as much as I want to. It just isn't going to be the same as I remember it being almost a decade ago when all my friends in high school played it. Without them it will be a hollow experience.
Ugh, I hate it when my content isn't actually on what I bought. That means it can easily disappear at some point in the future.
Same here but I can give it a pass with the movie. I feel it's more the Terminal stuff that should be on the disc.Ugh, I hate it when my content isn't actually on what I bought. That means it can easily disappear at some point in the future.
If they do have a bundle you won't here about it until October probably. It would damper sales too much
It'll stick around for a while I'm sure. Forward Unto Dawn was released on DVD and to my knowledge you can still watch the individual episodes on Machinima.
PAX announcement maybe?
If MS has rights to the code and design, just steal Reach's menu UI. Just steal it wholesale. It's twice as functional and five times better looking than anything 343 has done in house.
Did they talk about how the matchmaking will work the the MC collection?
Fox example, when I'm in matchmaking, will I be be able to search for only Halo 2 games?
Also, is the 1-50 ranking system coming back?
Reach's UI was pretty sweet.
They've also said they'll have at least one playlist solely devoted to each game. So if you only want to play Halo 4 for some god forsaken reason, you can do that.If you look on the first page of this thread, where they show screen shots of the multiplayer menu, you can get an idea of where it looks like they are going with the multiplayer matchmaking. It looks like you pick a game type and within that game type, it shows what Halo games are supported in that game type. Then a list of three maps would randomly show up and people would vote on which map they want to play.
Unless they change it, I would also imagine that in a game type such as SWAT, which didn't start till Halo 2, you wouldn't be able to play SWAT on Halo CE maps.
This is all just an edjumicated guess on my part though.

I have a personal theory in which old games, that you enjoyed a lot in the past, should stay in the past.
I have a personal theory in which old games, that you enjoyed a lot in the past, should stay in the past. I've personally soured my memories of many of these games by replaying them recently. For example, I had huge fond memories of Another World, and replaying it recently, I don't see why I was so infatuated with the game. Time changes, you change yourself, and things are not the same anymore.
That would be amazing. And Halo 4, too! Doubles is one of the best playlists in the game.2. Ranked Team Doubles in Halo 1-3
So I guess you can unlock exclusive content for Halo 5 Guardians by playing TMCC and watching Halo: Nightfall.

In other words, everyone will get it? I can't imagine too many people are going to get Halo 5 and not MCC.
Hmm, Mark V and Mark VI armor along with the Arbiter's classic armor(if Elites are playable in Halo 5 again) would be nice bonuses for those who buy TMCC.

Hah, now that you mention it, I ran into the same problem. I never realized it was so unique to Doubles, but I think you're right.True, but wholeheartedly ruined by the ability to back out in the pre-match screen. Must've had a run of 8 or 9 backouts, it became ridiculous.

Nice any idea what the exclusive content would be.
BTW, hopefully there is a penalty for when people drop out, for those times when "unpopular" games or game maps get voted for democratically. "Oh frak, Halo 4! Why the frak did you guys vote for that? I'm out of here!"
Since it appears rank will go up and down again based on skill, then they can make that a penalty -- however, if people are losing rank due to leaving games, then they should still be matched up with the people of similar skill before the derank since they are not losing rank due to skill. This would prevent people deranking on purpose since it wouldn't have any possible benefits at all.
Guys .. In halo 4 ending... Some troops land on a planet. Which planet is that? Reach?
Not sure if this counts as spoilers. They're on New Phoenix, Earth, which was hit by the Composer in the previous mission. The piles of ashes on the ground were people...
I'm hoping to see more of that location in the future. New Alexandria on Reach was hardly what I'd call a city, especially after New Mombasa in ODST (....what's with all these new cities though?)
Oh ok thnx. There had to be reason why he attacked that place I guess?
I'm gonna play the shit outta TMCC.
Only until Halo 5? Ill be playing MCC till the next, next gen. Its actually going to be nearly impossible for H5 to compete with the MCC package. 100 multiplayer maps, 4 campaigns, and nearly perfected gameplay is a tall order.yup gonna play this shit to death, i'll be playing it until Halo 5 hits.
Just hope they don't remove massive quantities of playlists in fall 2015.Only until Halo 5? Ill be playing MCC till the next, next gen. Amen.I think that h5 will be OK. I also that 343 are gonna deliver. Either way, it isfucking awesome knowing that I'll have a halo fix for a good few years
Oh god, Lil Poison. I forgot about him. I remember somehow getting to play in a H2 custom game with the Ogre twins. I wonder what they are up to now.
