Have absolutely no problem double dipping if it comes out on PC later. But i won't be waiting for a possibility that it might release in March - i need it in my veins now so PS4 and then the PC version.

No. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the alpha showed the extent of the character creation (considering how you'll be spending more time in a helmet than without it...)

I have not heard of any additional changes other than having more dye options. I would not be surprised if there was new hair options or tattoos put in.

God, I was working for a store once, and this was the movie they were using to demo 3D TVs (when they first came out.)
I'm pretty sure this film was on TVs all day, every day, for a solid 6 months.
I can safely say that the dance moves are awesome and the film is pure shit.

Are apartments just really that expensive there or are you looking for something way nice? :O I've got a 3 bedroom apartment with a huge kitchen and living room for 600 that I split with a friend.
It really is that expensive, and she's being conservative. Living in most LA areas will usually begin at 1200 these days, though there are good ranges if you look hard enough.

When I lived in San Diego for university, in 2002 I was sharing a one bedroom apartment with one roommate and the rent was 1100, which we split in half.

Beta keys should be rollling out closer to the 17th. People who pre-ordered get a code that they can register on Bungie.net that enters them into the Beta program. Did your friend receive such a code?

I got one from Futureshop where I ordered it, but my friend, who also preordered from Futureshop a year later, didn't get one. Just wondering if it was limited time, but that doesn't make sense.

Weird. I pre-ordered from Amazon last year and got my code right away. You can always pre-order there, get the code, then cancel your pre-order. That's what I did since I am getting the digital version on PSN.

Shit happened last year and binging on New Leaf for a couple weeks saved me from insanity.

Hey guys, finally got my account approved so I wanted to say hello.
I followed the Alpha thread and now this thread. There seems to be a lot of solid people here that it would be fun to play with. The second they announced the Alpha for the PS4 I went out and got one and I must say im impressed with the hardware. Pre-ordered Destiny over PSN and got 2 extra Beta codes for my brothers, so im ready to go. Also the Beta drops in the middle of my summer vacation, pretty perfect.
And oh yeah, Titan for life.

Thank you Amethyst! Sorry about that - I was visiting a friend and when I got back two days later, I tried to switch the the ports in the PS4 I had it plugged in and it worked. So everything is fine now. Thank you again.

I played perfectly fine on ps4 with others from America and I'm in New Zealand.
I played with at least 20 gaffers during that weekend and no one complained.
People did find my love of the moon turret funny though

Also this withdrawal sucks.
I find payday 2 controls lifeless and without weight now, ghosts just seems pointless and halo 4 just numbs me....why bungie why!!!!
