PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

I'm trying to upload images with my PSV through flickr but I'm getting an error: A0000301. Anyone who encountered this problem?

Someone else mentioned this a few days ago. You might have to use the LiveTweet or Email app instead for now.
 
Until last month, PS3 games never showed up on the PS+ section of the store on my PS4, I don't currently own a PS3, if I "purchase" the free games from my PS4, will they be available when I do eventually buy a PS3? (Thinking of waiting til around when Persona 5 is released).
 
I am really enjoying Child of Light. It's so relaxing for an RPG, really love the music and atmosphere. So glad I finally have a chance to play it as well, since I don't have any of the other consoles it's on.

That's funny, because it's on every console that are still going on the market, bar the 3DS.

I had a PS3 and PC, but I knew they'd bring it to the Vita eventually. I'm glad you're enjoying the game, I'm finishing it.
 
OMG I just started playing FFX-2 on m Vita and it looks just amazing. Native res I would say. I thought FFX already looked great, but this is a major improvement.

I start to salivate just thinking about how FFXII HD would look on Vita.


Also, here's a kind of odd/nice piece of news.

Sony can’t keep up with demand for the Vita in North America

Considering how SCEA has been trashing Vita lately, I have to admit I chuckled when I saw this.
 
Oh wow, Child of Light is the real deal, one of the best games I've played this year. Vita fellows, don't let 60fps or three seconds of stutter get in the way between you and a great, very charming and nostalgic RPG. Pull the trigger.
 
Yep, Child of Light is brilliant. It's paced really as well, I never feel like I'm grinding on doing any one thing for too long. Feels like I'm flying through it, the Platinum seems to be really easy to get.
 
Blergh. The EU store is still not fully updated with the new discounts. Using a browser it only shows a handful of PSV/PSP games (with no discount), and using a Vita shows you all the games, but again without any discount.

Gotta wait for SCEE to get their bearings, I guess.

The only thing that halted me from touching that buy button is Ubisoft tend to discount their games pretty hard after a while. I am kind of want to buy it too but there's that one fact to consider, hahaha.

Just for you it won't see a sale for a year and you'll finally give in. Then it'll go 50% off the next day.

Not really. The only cool one is the Golem DLC that adds a new sub quest and party member, other than that it's just character skins or items to make the game easier.

Sort of a random question for this thread but it's related to PSN purchases. Could a fellow Vita owner confirm this:

So if I'm not connected to Wi-Fi I can't play any games I've received (for free) through PS+, but I can play games I've bought off PSN, right?

My power was out for 12 hours last night and I was sort of sad to find out most games I have I couldn't play because I didn't have an internet connection. I'm still new to the whole Vita thing. >.<

You can play all of the PS+ as long as they aren't expired.

No need to be connected.

Hmm. That's what I was originally hoping, but whenever I tried to launch a game I'd gotten from PS+ (Hotline Miami, Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice) it would say failed to connect to PSN and wouldn't let me start the game, but when I did the same thing with Killzone (which I had bought) it gave me the same message but the game started fine
 
Sorry if this has been asked before, but does the Guacamele ASDF edition add trophies? and does the upgrade add them to the base game or is it a new list? Will one be able to continue from the last save?

New list, since the new version isn't available for the Vita or PS3.
 
Seeing how nicely Rachet runs on Vita it makes me sad when I think about the Jak trilogy.

I got it at launch through crossbuy and nearly immediately deleted it due to the terrible performance.

Did it ever get patched?
