Ya there is multiplayer like deathmatch and control but is it like Halo 2? Kinda sorta not really.

You can encounter random players in the environment and can choose to help them out in a fight. If you inspect them, you can choose an option to invite them to a 3 man party, and tackle a mission together. Or you can send invites to friends and form a party before choosing a specific mission, while you're in orbit. The campaign is more a series of quests, main and side. It's not a linear story campaign like Halo is.
And there's a PVP side to the game, too. Dunno what all the game modes will be, but the Alpha had a zone control/domination style mode where you have to capture/defend 3 different points.

Most likely these pictures are from a newer build then what the alpha is - would not be surprised to this in the beta build. Remember - most of the polish would have been applied around the time the alpha was released but the alpha was like a 1-2 month old build by the time it ended up on the PS4 public alpha for E3.
Also i thought the alpha looked quite good for what it was.
Which sounds like from the latest update is less then 7 days away. Bungie Day will at least have details or be the day for sure.

Well you can see in the pictures the ALPHA logo. What i ment is are they using some picture enhancing programs, because the game on my tv just dont look that nice, and i know for a fact its not my tv.

You have to remember their builds do not correspond to public builds. Their internal alpha, beta, etc will vary compared to what they publicly show. that's why I'd be surprised to see anything more then Old Russia showed in Beta. Maybe a multiplayer map or 2 set elsewhere would be feasible.
Course who knows. I could totally be wrong. That's the beauty of conjecture.

Wait what? Are you talking about the panorama shots or some other pictures? The panorama shots are most likely from a new build - there is no alpha tag or logo on them. Other pictures... well if they have the alpha tag on them then they would most likely be coming from actual users since i don't think bungie would release any pictures with the tag on them as actual PR shots.

Well then the only build that has been out in the wild is the Alpha build. I highly doubt there has been any leak of the beta build when bungie employees are only taking it home this weekend for the first time. I would wait for the beta and maybe try and compare video to whats on your TV. There might be an issue displaying 1080p on your tv with your PS4 (i had to set my PS4 to 1080i myself because otherwise it would randomly black screen) or... i don't know.
But for me - the game looks like it should compared to what the PR shots and users are posting. I don't think i have seen a single image yet that has made me go - this is a bullshot or this has been touched up or looks like it is running on a PC.

No im talking about all them pictures gafers are posting, some of them yes are from Bungie, you see the logo, but some players have posted their pictures and some of them are insanely high res, no jaggies at all, hell it just looks as if its coming from a pc version of the game. I know bungie has PR shots, wich i dont understand why they just make the pictures look THAT nice because INGAME the graphics just simply never look that good. I don't know maybe its just me.

@Tacosmell that's how the game looks. Did you get a chance to upload your own screens from the PS4 share menu? That's where most of them came from, and they even went through compression before they were uploaded. It's possible some people have captured screens through HD capture systems, but I don't think the disparity wouldn't great enough to concern you.
Maybe it is actually your TV? Even the slightest change in settings could change the image quality.

Looks so great. Not quite panoramic enough for my dual monitors (I'm always on the lookout for awesome 3840x1080 or larger images, I normally use very large panoramic landscape shots from Wikipedia and crop them) but the Mars one stretched doesn't look too bad. They might fit a bit better at work with my 16:10 monitors.

Probably a day or two before the beta goes live. You'll log into Bungie.net, pick your platform, and then have the code generated and e-mailed to you.

If people are selecting their platofrms and getting their codes in the next 7 days which they alluded too - i wouldn't be surprised if we could.

Alright... So I'm sure it's been answered before, but will every account on my PS4 that wants to play Destiny need PS+, or just me? I already have PS+, but was wondering if the other account-holders on my PS4 need PS+ as well.

No just you - if other people on your console want to play it they also can but will not be able to be access PS+ modes such as the crucible (Player vs. Player) or Strikes (3 Player Co-op). But you are all set to access everything if you have PS+.

I pre orderd from amazon uk before the ps4 even launched... Should they have emailed me a beta code by now?
There's no real reason why they can't, since that it'd be that the servers wouldn't be turned on until the beta starts.

Oh wow if true that will generate even more hype for this game.
I tend to forget that this is a big, star-system hopping epic because a lot of the gameplay has been Old Russia.
Can't wait to see other locations/planets.

To spin hypotheticals, were I Bungie and laying plans for a PC version, I'd probably slot PC module I and II (I forget what they're termed in actuality, Comet I and II or summat?) for release around the larger release date for II. Takes advantage of the more mature codebase and the resulting larger span of development time available.
I think that Comet is the codename for the Expansions, yes. So you're suggesting holding off on a PC version until the 2nd expansion? Yes, shotgunning the first release to the second (whether they be expansions or considered something else, I'm not sure). Would make the most sense to me from a standpoint of fitting a PC port into a development schedule without punting it something like a decade.
e: Digging into the Bungie-Activision contract again to refresh my memory of the terms, the hypothetical would be something like this:
- Destiny I (PS3, PS4, X360, Xbone; September 2014)
- Comet I (PS3, PS4, X360, Xbone; September 2015~)
- Destiny I/Comet I (PC; September 2015~, probably packed together at full price)
- Destiny II (PS3, PS4, X360, Xbone, PC; tentative fall 2016?)
